It was interesting that the carbon intensity of electricity (Scope 2 GHG emissions) in California was used for the graphs shown and that the near zero carbon intensity of electricity in France was mentioned and that this would change the graphs and boost Scope 3 GHG to a higher percentage of the total emissions. I cover this in the following talk where I consider a Data Centre located in a near zero carbon intensity electricity region which creates the Guinness beer glass analogy.

Hi, I've been skimming a spec document and there's something I couldn't figure out. Power delivery seems to depend on the connector's size- But is it tied to bandwidth? That is, could you give the full 160W to a card when both it and the slot have only, say, x8 PCIe lanes? Really cool to see PCIe slots that can directly take one or two cards, seems like it could add a lot of flexibility. Maybe it'll even be brought to desktops.
