number 1- during acute episodes it might be okay but aint no real stregth with that light band, especially in the positions and the way you perform it, number 2- same problem not enough strong stimulus for building strength for most of the people, and NO , it doesnt strengthen your knees. number 3- bosu work can be good for cocontracion of intrinsic muscles but no the best for stability or propioception.. overall aint that bad for a really acute period but if the goal is to strengthen the ankles that’s definitely and early phase.

Matty was always a grafter at the toon, a proper Geordie lad that lived the dream we all have! Been tracking his time at Toronto and I'm chuffed he's settled in! Excellent

So just wondering, so they had a prayer, what happens if your a player that's an atheist or agnostic? I mean other than being respectful obviously.

Hi Sam, I’ve stumbled upon your channel and loving the new and old content. It’s a hard life trying to make it as a footballer and I love that I can show my young lad the reality of being a professional footballer. Born in Glasgow, grew up in Australia. Won’t dox myself but played at NSL level and Australia youth level with a few lads that went on to have brilliant careers.. my dream was to play in Scotland for Celtic and trialled with Hearts, Hibs, Dundee United, amongst others.. Raith Rovers offered me a youth contract but the homesickness set in so went back to Oz at NPL level, ACL injury at 19 and career over. 45 now and still love the game and play vets here. My young fella plays at a good level and is following your Footballers Checklist videos, as am I, just a bit slower 😂 HH
@SamWardrop9725 күн бұрын
Really appreciate it Harry! And thanks for sharing. Are you still out in Oz? I spent a few months over there at the start of year and loved it. All the best to your son. Give me a shout if he has any more questions!

@@SamWardrop97thanks Sam. Legend. My wee boy is 13 and plays at NPL level here (top level in Oz). Still here but if he gets a look in in Scotland, I’ll be on the first flight lol. Was in Scotland in November and did a bit of a tour of football grounds. We quite literally just watched your interview with ACSOM. Brilliant stuff mate. A great insight. Keep up the great work mate. 🙏

@@SamWardrop97sorry Sam last comment, have you thought about playing football in Australia? Chris McStay is doing really well. Surely only a matter of time till he gets an A League contract. You’re twice the player that the majority of these lads are. NPL - A league
@jamiecrosbie26 күн бұрын
The Longstaff lads are the most down to earth guys you will meet, Their dad used to play ice hockey up until 2-3 years ago and Sean as a premier league footballer would be filling the water bottles up for his dads team and travelling with the team to away games up here in Dumfries, Absolutely top stuff from the lads.

Class video again! Matty seems like a top lad. Hope he continues to enjoy his football and 100% a career in the MLS would be unreal and many millions of players who didn't make it professionally would dream of it.

So cringe how the coaches drop F bombs every other word for no apparent reason.
@SamWardrop97Ай бұрын
It regularly happens in all football changing rooms across the world. Players and coaches use the F bomb. It’s the emotion and passion that takes over when you’re on the inside of a team. It’s used with good intentions. Check out some of the English premier league docs on Netflix and Amazon - you’ll see them used there too!
