Ive driven that route hundreds of times from the 7 grade to 10 grade. We moved from Carthage to Hamlet but still had a lot of relatives in Carthage. Later moved back to Jersey

Good to hear that is a good memory. Glad you got to see that ride again. The one thing I always think about when I see Hamlet or hear Hamlet was that terrible fire in the ...I believe chicken plant years and years ago. Seems like a nice place unfortunately that happen.
