I remember in the '80s I was more of a top 10 guy who only listened to the radio. I didn't have cable so I didn't have MTV at the time. I didn't know about all the bands out there, and then the hair bands came along. All I knew of music was what was played on the radio and I only listened to two stations. My friend introduced me to Rock music with led Zeppelin, deep purple, and Aerosmith. It was a different kind of music than I was used to so it took a little getting used to. But once I did I loved it. And then we got cable and I got to watch MTV and then all the hair bands came out and I was crazy about it. Most of my friends didn't like them but I fully did.
