He taught me at Central. I was an Orangutan for 9 weeks. Now, he is a guy. Andy Serkis is good but he's no Pete Elliott.

I myself had previously studied at a stunt school and was completing an acting course. we had shows where we depicted animals. Nobody taught me how to show animals in particular. I was a natural at that. My athletic skills helped me more here. you can watch my video where I show a monkey. Besides the stage movement, I also like the monkey costumes, masks and make-up.

Sure possible brilliant but he had a massive ego and essentially drank himself to death. His temper when drunk appears to have been ugly. It seems like he had a lot of apologists. Sad.

if only someone would make a film version of this - such a fantastically strange idea, Will Self's eye for detail really holds the whole story together. here's hoping....

I love Peter Elliott. The best ape on the planet. He was a Gorilla on Greystoke 1984. With Chirstopher Lambert. He can become an ape with out all this motion stuff computers etc they used on King Kong or planet of the apes. That makes it easier to imagine it’s monkeys but Peter can do that it n his Pyjamas. Yeah man...

As someone who survived sectioning in conventional psychiatry. His basic point that forced imprisonment and forced medication to manage mental health rather than let it work itself out was basically right. The amount of abuses through history and the conventional asylum system is horrifying. I at least admire him for his attempt to correct this injustice

Saw this last night and it was stunning - the cast soared - dialogue zipped - it was like eavesdropping on the most heartbreaking domestic...which doesn’t sound like a good night! But it really, really was.

Saw this on Saturday - it really is a cracking production. Particular kudos to Greg Hicks, for being a slimy yet incredibly attractive Richard; Georgina Rich for being a feisty Anne; Mark Jax for his sympathetic Hastings and hilarious murderer, and Jamie de Courcey for his inspiring Richmond.
