I always thought Deborah Foreman had the best smile of all the 80s girls.

Love this movie so much! I recently rewatched it while flying from the East Coast to LA and it was so much fun to experience it all over again!

Missed this 7 years ago (damn you KZbin algo!). Just wanted to say this movie is a long time favorite of mine!

I've known this guy all my life 🥰& he's made me laugh my whole life😂🤣He never pretended to be someone he wasn't unlike Billy Crystal who pretended not to be Jewish from the get go & on soap because he thought it wouldn't advance his career? What an Ahole eh? That's how far back I go early 60's 🤭they say if you remember the 60's you weren't there✌️😂🤣

If you are “of a certain age”, Deborah Foreman was an icon! Who didn’t want to be cool like her in Valley Girl? I loved her in that, April Fools Day, Real Genius, My Chauffeur…. She was just the coolest girl on the block you wanted to be friends with! ❤️

I am a long time fan of Amy Steel. Growing up in the 80’s she was the girl who defended herself in these movies. She wasn’t running upstairs in high heel & her underwear screaming for help! She was a kick ass girl who was too smart to be a slasher victim! Love love love Amy!

I feel like Deborah Goodrich has no patience for Leah. Is she drunk?

All these women are still 🔥! I miss my 80s. Things were so much better. Can’t wait to see how the past will come back to us with a sense of normalcy.

While the alternate endings sound interesting, they were right to cut them as they sound like a pointless 4th act. Muffy certainly needed her just desserts at the end but didn't need a whole 30 minutes after the big reveal. I love the ending they went with, it was creepy and funny and Nan got her revenge. Interestingly the remake utilises the two alternate endings, with the friends all pranking Desiree and the brother killing her for the inheritance. Sorry but not sorry for spoiling the remake, but as Amy Steele say it's absolute awful.

I'm really curious how this was done production wise. There is no part, that is not moving. I have a hard time believing this was done on layers. But I can't see each frame being a single sheet of paper, with everything on it, either. I understand many traditional techniques and hardware.. at best guess, maybe a light box, with two or 3 layers per frame, but the paper ( I would think) is incredibly thin. Dunno. Just speechless. I know he wanted 3 (?) films of this, but at least he finished Prologue, before passing.

Although one can charge mira nair on moral ground for being stolid to the child actors of the film which made her what she is but technically it wasn't her duty as she was buisness woman and not a pious saint

I need to rewatch this soon. I've only seen it once but recall thinking it was pretty good lol.

All four of them are still looking great, especially Foreman and Pinsent! My favorite moment in the whole movie is Amy Steel's face expression when she finds out what's really going on, it's PRICELESS! Then she follows it up with "Oh ha ha ha! FUCK YOU!"

Wow these women are still gorgeous. The movie is just ok but all of the actors did a great job.

When I saw it the 1st time on tape in 1990, I tremble at the idea of another senseless slasher-splatter of young lives. And then I was relieved when it 's revealed as a very elaborate prank for a reason. The surprise ending was a variant on the earliest motion picture by the Lumiere Bros. "The sprinkler sprinkled" !
