That was a great help Thankyou. On that date we were in full level 4 lockdown in NZ and we were not even allowed to go near the water no boating of any kind. Insane.

Could've had the same results with a spook or pencil. You're fishing it like a top water, I like using them subsurface , hey whatever works.

Is there a option to just always show a trail without having to start a new one. I just want to be able to turn it on and show the map and it automatically just show a trail

Most of the time I save one trail and name it so I remember not to delete. But each time I go back to that area, I delete the new trail at the end of the day and start a new one next time. I personally want to see my trail so I know what's safe water. But I guess in theory if you didn't want any old trails, I'd probably delete the trail at the end of each trip. Then it should automatically start a new one each time you go again.

@@247lures I gotcha I was just wondering because my buddy says once he turns his on it automatically starts trailing and than it just deletes it’s self after so long. But his must be a newer one or something

Just don’t understand how I can transfer the CMap imaging onto my Hook Reveal. It looks great on a PC screen but on the Hook Reveal I only see a line of where I’m navigating. No underlying map with the depth in detail. Am I doing something wrong or is that just what the FF is capable of ? Put a file of the river I want to fish on an sd card and put it into the Hook Reveal. Said saving map, but cannot find it on my apparatus. So I’m stuck. Any way you can help with that ?
