As an Teenager i am. Techno was a big part of my childhood too and when i heared Techno died i immediately ran in my room cause i was like in the living room and i just ran in my room and locked the door i just sat on my bed thinking "Why do things have to come this way?" I just sat there crying for 2 hours straight and when i stopped it wa slike 11PM i told my big brother who is the only knowing that things like this really broke me and he comfort me and i had a kinda rough childhood cause i grew up with My 3 older siblings and my Mom my dad had an other family behind our back and like he went 2 times we trusted him and forgave him, but when he went thr 3rd time he never came back and thats not long ago and now one of my favourite youtubers is gone too?... Why can't this all just be a bad bad nightmare?

The thing that is annoying about this rant is how they don’t seem to appreciate that buildmart is showcasing different skill sets that other players ARE excellent at. It’s showcasing the diversity of skills one can have as a Minecrafter and gives the builders an opportunity to shine. He doesn’t seem to accept that it’s ok for it not to be his strength and that the game can be an opportunity to work with and learn from the players that have the knowledge and skills necessary for success in build mart. Upon analysis, there’s truly a lot more depth to the skills necessary for successful buildmart. Build memory and familiarity with how many blocks are required for the volume of a build and for crafting recipes. Knowledge in this can easily shave off time during material collection. Quick pattern recognition. This is what allows the builders to place their blocks down in the correct positions the first time round saving them a lot of tear down and rebuilding. (Before the changed texture pack), ease with block recognition. Knowing at a glance which wood types or concrete colors they’re looking at save time and reduces confusion when material gathering. Then there’s the strategy in resource allocation and time management. Discernment on what is priority is a difficult skill to master and requires assessment of current available materials and quick commanding instruction to the floater on what’s needed and when to return or continue to gather additional materials. This requires a lot of decisive and clear communication. Focus on too much and you have Dreams problem where he struggles with remembering what he needs because he’s also giving instruction to others. He can’t effectively split his attention because he doesn’t already have those underlying builder skills ingrained. He’d be better off tunneling on his own thing and only breaking concentration on his own build after he’s completed his first. Then he could continue with the next or temporarily assist someone else and let some one else instruct or just have them all tunnel vision to avoid the overwhelming bombardment of call outs and material calling. While some people are naturally more adept at these skills, most are practicable. But instead, we get salty people who don’t appreciate that build mart is the non pvper’s event to shine in. And this frankly comes off as disrespectful towards builder and survivalist focused players. It’s like, if it’s not pvp or maneuverability focused, then it’s a bad game. Grian doesnt like parkour warrior or sky battle but not once have I heard him complain about the games like how I’ve heard Dream squad complain about build mart. Grian’s dislike is entirely due to his acknowledgment and acceptance that it’s his personal weakness. Grian knows he can’t really take on the top pvpers, accepts he’ll always be at a disadvantage, and accepts the game knowing it still deserves being on the roster. Dream on the other hand doesn’t seem to respect the builder/survivalist skill sets enough to do the same. Instead it feels disrespectful because it almost seems like he expects that he’s a skilled enough player to manage to beat a builder at his own game with only his current skill sets and seems to unwittingly disregard the builder/survivalist’s skill sets. Dreams asks why Grian gets so many kills on him despite being “average” while he can’t best Grian in buildmart. Here’s why. Grian got pvp kills on Dream because Dream gets overconfident and too aggressive, and then Grian gets lucky and just cleans up after with his medium level pvp skill and good team coordination. He’s doesn’t play stupid, he knows his limits, he uses his teams strengths and relies on them to cover his shortcomings. Dream doesn’t see his pvp shortcomings. Grian could not normally defeat Dream but is able too when Dream sabotages himself first by putting too much faith in his own abilities and ignoring the skill levels of his teammates or the potential of other players he sees as inferior to him in combat. Dream’s big head and unwillingness to respect the potential of the other teams players and how they might best him is why he fails. He views kills as “THE” way to win and fails at utilizing his team effectively by not giving them time and space to get equipped or mentally prepared. He’s often charging ahead of the fray and dragging the team behind him and it leaves him and his teammates more vulnerable as a result. He’s also so self focused he misses important intel, like in MCC 17 when after his team all died in round one of sky wars he just parkoured around the map and talked to his teammates about what they were gonna do next, missing the opportunity to observe the current strategies of the other teams, like fruit’s team pushing for dominance of map center or yellow seeking to reach the tiny middle island and hide out. By ignoring the tail end of the round, he’s basically saying through action that it’s only what he does and how he plays that matters. It comes off as cocky and arrogant to think that the only barrier to success is your own plans and skills. In short…Dreams petty, disrespectful, and arrogant.
