Wow, congrats! Two pathetic individuals on the same podcast! Kellerman is a great example of what is wrong with "higher education". Absolutely disgusting. Comparing Trump to Hitler. These morons might want to look at the abuse of the current President and DOJ over Americans individual rights and the rule of law. This administration (Biden) has been worse than Obama in the abuse. Defying the Supreme Court in granting student loan relief, with taxpayers footing the bill. Attempting to jail his main political opponent with bogus charges, with directives from the DOJ. With Trump we had 4 years of peace and prosperity (until COVID). Median incomes in the US went up more in one year (2019) than in the entire 8-years of Obama. Real wages have declined for 3 straight years under Biden. Trump was the first President since Jimmy Carter to NOT get us involved in any foreign conflict of any kind. Trump also negotiated twice as many peace deals in the Middle East as the previous six presidents combined. Biden and his administration has us in not one, not two, but three different proxy wars, the combined of which has us on the precipice of WW3. To the point that Hakeem Jeffries (D) Minority Leader of the House, says that we may have to send US troops to fight in Ukraine. How insane. Do I have to mention 40-year highs in inflation, which has the prices of goods that Americans use every day up anywhere from 30-100% since Biden took office? Or how about our open border, allowing millions of illegals to enter our country, and fentanyl to cross into our country as well, causing the deaths of an estimated 100,000 Americans every year. I could go on and on about how this administration has been an absolute disaster for America and Americans. This video is an abomination, and an insult to anyone with an IQ over 100.

Started watching CNN when she was fronting with Cuomo and then John Bermen they were perfect together but when the new owner took over and completely ruined CNN and it was so very noticeable I gradually stopped watching I'd been watching for 10 years finding our UK news stations useless .All the best presenters we're Alisyn Christian, Clarissa ,Becky. JOHN, John Avalon lately Jim Scuito Aderson excuse if I've missed some out .I've lately been watching Aljazeera where the reporting is above and beyond and CNN is so lacking on the horrors .Tonight I switched over to CNN as I do on odd times ,I'm over the moon to see Alisyn back so professional to listen to hope she's back for good and I'll be switching over .more often .

Looks like I’m gonna be the first one to comment. So here goes: LOVED the documentary which I saw in its entirety this past week, and I will argue that it’s one of the most important ones I’ve seen in a long time. Mr. Modine, Mr. Shapiro, I hope you and your ENTIRE team are successful in spreading the word about how we are all Downwinders. I plan to tell everyone I know that they need to see this film. I plan to share this later on this week on my Facebook, and everywhere else I can. I applaud you and everyone involved.

Mr Comey, your misguided decision to release info on Clinton’s emails, might well be, a major factor that has caused so much harm to our nation. DJT and the far right authoritarian takeover of the GOP, falls squarely at your feet. Period, full stop.

Oh, wow! I'm a big fan of punk rock and have some local punk bands from the mid 90s that I would love to hear again. Very cool about releasing Shrapnel's music on vinyl. I'm have no piercings, mohawks, or permanent artwork on me. I've worked most of my adulthood in our local schools (IT), organize and coach youth sports. Despite me acting all grown up these days I still love punk rock. Thanks for talking about this. I really enjoyed hearing your story. We did some crazy stuff.

This is the first video I've seen that addresses web reading, so thank you for that. However, I'm having a problem with audiobooks that I want to listen to on my PC--one that isn't a Chromebook. The interface is not very intuitive and I can see no icons which show what to do to pause, fast forward or rewind. I would love a video explaining how to listen to an audiobook in a web browser. Thanks, again.

Giannis was born and grew up in Greece. He is like any other guy, fluent in Greek, with good background of Greek education. The brothers always sing the national anthem when they represent the Greek team, unlike other Greek players. Btw, I haven't watched the documentary, but I will do watch the games when the brothers play again with the national team. It's the sport that matters not the commercial hagiography - come on Giannis.

It makes me laugh when American's wax lyrical about the Blues. How it's now this massive heritage thing. It is to black Americans, before the British blues invasion, the old Blues masters were ignored and never acknowledged . It took all the great British 60's Musicians to open the eyes of America to all this great music that came before them. They hadn't a clue before that.

• E27 RESPONSES TO “BRIAN STERN RESIGNS FROM BOARD OF FINANCE” 1. John Hartwell | February 15, 2024 at 2:30 pm | Reply I served for two and half years on the Board of Finance under Brian’s leadership. Westport is losing an incredibly dedicated and talented supporter. 2. Matt Lechner | February 15, 2024 at 2:31 pm | Reply “Finance” in Westport is a term used loosely in Town Hall. For years they have allowed the Town Attorney to award ALL of the Town’s legal work to his own private law firm (Berchem Moses) on a plush “NO-BID” basis. When confronted, the Atty. said, literally “Well, my law firm comes with me.” What if the highway commissioner did that ? awarded all the town’s paving business to his own paving company. It’s a scummy town, it really is. Anything goes in Westport. Anything goes in Westport. Loading... 3. Matt Lechner | February 15, 2024 at 2:33 pm | Reply millions and millions of dollars of legal work, for years. Awarded to Berchem Moses on a “NO-BID” basis. “his law firm comes with him”, oh I guess that makes sense. What if the highway commissioner did that ? He’d be in jail. that’s what. In jail. Loading... 4. thomas orofino | February 15, 2024 at 2:34 pm | Reply Brian, please reconsider as your help on the Long Lots program would be invaluable. Thomas Orofino Loading... 5. Matt Lechner | February 15, 2024 at 2:34 pm | Reply but, that’s Westport. That’s Westport. Loading... 6. brian strong | February 15, 2024 at 2:39 pm | Reply A real loss for Westport. Let us hope the underlying problems abate. We need to return to the just plain discourse. Loading... 7. Jimmy Izzo | February 15, 2024 at 2:40 pm | Reply Brian, Thank you for your service and dedication to our town. Wishing enjoyment in your next chapter of volunteering. Loading... 8. Chip Stephens SHS 73 | February 15, 2024 at 2:43 pm | Reply Brian you are a true gentleman and have been a valuable servant of the town. We did not always agree but I always respected your opinions. I wish more would think about the dedication and time put forth by the volunteers on boards and commissions. I empathize with your position and decision but more importantly know you gave it your all. Good luck Brian Loading... 9. Toni Simonetti | February 15, 2024 at 2:45 pm | Reply A very sad day for Westport. Brian Stern has been a beacon of light in town government, and a fiscal watchdog for every taxpayer. This is a stunning loss to the Westport electorate. Loading... 10. adam vengrow | February 15, 2024 at 2:53 pm | Reply Godspeed thank you for your service Loading... 11. mattlechner08376b231d | February 15, 2024 at 2:53 pm | Reply I think instead of calling it the “Finance Department” it should be officially re-named the “Department of Theft”. If the Town Attorney can steal like he has for years, it must be that stealing is “O.K.” in Westport, maybe it’s “O.K.” so long as it’s the “big people” doing it, helping themselves to the Town’s money. Loading... 12. mattlechner08376b231d | February 15, 2024 at 2:55 pm | Reply after all, why should there be a need for the Town Attorney to put the Town’s legal work out to bid, you know - if he controls the process of awarding the work. Why should he allow any competition, you know, if he’d rather just give all the work to his own law firm ? I guess it’s his “preference”. He’d rather have the money himself. Loading... 13. Sal liccione | February 15, 2024 at 2:57 pm | Reply Brian you will be missed I loved working with you on rtm side and you Alway pick up the phone you will Deff be missed in Westport thanks Brian for your service to the town of Westport Loading... 14. Louis Mall | February 15, 2024 at 2:59 pm | Reply I have had the good fortune to work with Brian to get Riverside Park cleaned up over a 5 year span. Today, we have a beautiful park that wouldn’t have been improved without his support. Our taxes have remained relatively flat for the past ten years due to the joint efforts of Town Administration, Department Heads, Board of Finance and the RTM. Good governance has made that happen, but it is getting mean and ugly here in Westport. As Brian said to me the other night, we should be celebrating building a new school for our children instead of fighting with one another. Now you can relax and enjoy retirement Brian, but stay involved. Loading... 15. Andrea Lawrence Moore | February 15, 2024 at 3:00 pm | Reply Brian, thank you for your service to our town. All the best with your next adventure(s). Loading... 16. Jen Greely | February 15, 2024 at 3:05 pm | Reply Brian, I am a random Westporter who has listened to and/or attended several BoF meetings over the last 7+ years. Your leadership has been the most excellent of any board or committee meeting I have ever watched. You consistently asked the questions I had in mind, and the ones not top of mind that made me explore different perspectives. Thank you, for both your thoughtful stewardship of our town’s finances and for the levelheaded, smart, and data-driven discussions you facilitated. You will be missed. Loading... 17. J. Scott Broder | February 15, 2024 at 3:08 pm | Reply Brian, It is sad to see your well thought out reasoning for resigning after your many appreciated years of service for our town of Westport. I remember during our years in the 70’s working for the same oil company that you were regarded as an extremely diligent person of the most respected integrity. Thank you Brian for all your leadership skills for Westport these many years. Hope to see you in our mutual paths of Westport. Loading... 18. Candice Savin | February 15, 2024 at 3:25 pm | Reply What a loss for Westport! Brian you have been an exacting, thoughtful and effetive leader. You have been uniquely responsible for investments in town assets while keeping our tax rate steady. Your talent and dedication are unmatched. I am sad to see you leave the BOF. Loading... 19. Andrew Colabella | February 15, 2024 at 3:34 pm | Reply I started going to meetings in 2016 and one of the first was Board of Finance. Entering room 201, everyone had their particular seats, and I was just starting out before running for RTM. Brian had a way of explaining things that everyone understood, but NO one else had said. And I never got tired of listening to his explanations, no matter how long they were because it was so necessary. Honest, I found BOF meetings to be extremely relaxing and educational. I’ll miss your presence and contributions to the town, even if we didn’t always agree. Loading... 20. Adam Starr | February 15, 2024 at 3:44 pm | Reply Westport’s loss. Thank you, Brian, for your years of dedication and service. I no longer live in Westport, but I hope all of you somehow manage to find a capable and open minded replacement. Loading... 21. Richard Johnson | February 15, 2024 at 3:52 pm | Reply As someone who’s not in the weeds on town governance, what exactly is the author referring to and who is responsible? I understand the reluctance to call people or groups out individually, but as a resident and voter it’s really critical information to know who exactly is driving longtime public servants out of office. Is this about Long Lots parents? Community gardeners? The board of ed? The first selectperson? This cryptic message raises more questions than answers. Loading... 22. Joel Wasserman | February 15, 2024 at 3:58 pm | Reply Huge loss for the town. Hope his replacement is as smart and dedicated as Brian. Loading... 23. Matthew Mandell | February 15, 2024 at 4:01 pm | Reply This is a loss. Brian you always had a strong grip on things and were a voice to listen to. Sorry to see you go. Take a breath and see what you might do in another area of the town. Just in this past RTM meeting a number of members said we now wonder if all the name calling and finger pointing would dissuade people from volunteering for office. I never thought someone would quit. And here we are. Loading... 24. Danielle Dobin | February 15, 2024 at 4:04 pm | Reply Brian - Your seat will be filled but you are irreplaceable. We miss you already. Loading... 25. Tom Feeley | February 15, 2024 at 4:32 pm | Reply Not good news Loading... 26. Julianne Mulvey | February 15, 2024 at 4:49 pm | Reply This is a huge loss to the town. Brian, your unbiased and analytical leadership (augmented by humor and conviviality) will be sorely missed. All the best in your next steps! Loading... 27. Liz and Bob Blasko | February 15, 2024 at 5:02 pm | Reply Shame on us, Westport! Brian Stern is smart, dedicated and professional. We felt reassured with him in a leadership position in our town. Thank you, Brian, for all the hours you volunteered to Westport. You will be missed. We apologize for the inappropriate discourse and appalling behavior of some of our fellow Westporters. Bob and Liz Blasko
