Our family loves Disneyland and especially loves the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Although we visit Disneyland as much as possible, like many of you, we would love to go more often!
We began creating our Pirates of the Caribbean Halloween display in 2009. We started by making two props and although they were simply pieced together, they were well received so we continued to add a bit more each year.
With no additional storage these props are made to be taken apart, folded up and placed on pallets in our two car garage. The materials are simple and lightweight. These are not professional props nor are they meant to be. Having said that, we continue to learn from the amazing Disney fans and talented creative artists in our KZbin community. We strive to improve the quality and realism of our props. This is our way of bringing Disneyland's beloved Pirates of the Caribbean ride home for our neighbors and our community to enjoy.

Best ride transformation I’ve seen yet! I’m using all these great setups as inspiration for my pirate themed house this year. I use a lot of projection since I’m more of a tech guy than a builder. Your lighting is on point. Lighting, as my mother says, is everything. I worked World of Color and soon after the show opened I was part of the leadership team. My favorite scene was the pirates portion, so I’m going to create a pirates light show in homage. Scouring the internet for ideas, great job!

This is so neat! I do a different theme every year for Halloween. This yr will be PIRATES! I was just wondering, how did u make the mound of gold? Thank you! 😀
