I know this video is 4 months old but I'm really really trying to (pure bow) this game and I can't find much in the way of customization guides or PA guides or anything. Could you steer me in that direction or help me out by chance?

Everyone says the bow is weak, but is it really a weak weapon?

Yes, I'd say bow is currently the weakest weapon in the game. This time was 10 seconds slower than the 2nd slowest class in this ARKS record (Gunner at 1:42 I believe) which is a really considerable amount of time for a fight this short. It also has very mediocre AoE, requiring both close range and charge time to only hit in front of it so Braver tends to just use katana for anything AoE related, and does not offer anything utility wise to its class or party play like Launcher and Talis do with Weak Bullet/Elemental Down respectively.

his janky hitboxes mixed with how much bow moves around with elusion and ceaseless makes him so reset heavy, i was glad i finally got the run so i didnt have to look at him anymore

in this video i was on a reyaar bow, using what i believe was: exdi deftratech gladia soul lux halphinale gigas maste highkvar domina grand dread keeper and my units were 3 einea vio armor, all with those same 6 augments on them. i've since upgraded to a wingard bow using the same augments, except the gigas maste i also upgraded to glan gigas maste. that should be the general purpose "best-in-slot" augment lineup for most weapons. if you can't afford some of these, you can always try to use the LC versions of them (like Gladia Soul LC), which are only a little bit weaker than their regular counterpart but much easier to farm
