from public school student to public school teacher: you are a warrior. no one should be putting up with this type of behavior. trust me, we good kids who just want to get an education from school are tired of it too. i wish schools wouldnt be so afraid to expel kids who are dangers to others. but at the end of the day, these kids just need help man. and we see you teachers and know you want better for them and are doing your best to help them. even if it isnt said, yall have a special place in our hearts. it will be hard somedays, but just remember that theyre not angry at you, theyre just taking it out near you because school is the only place they can do that. and its never your fault, like ever. youre just doing your job. giving the best that you can looks different everyday. keep going, your good students will remember helpful teachers like you beyond the day that they graduate!!!! much love ❤- sincerely from someone who has to put up with this from day to day

Can you tell me more about this? Does this mean what it takes to become (and stay) certified?
@danielgolarz6748 ай бұрын
@@teachwithwoolf sure. The fact is that there is no "teacher shortage" in this country when you get rid of all the ridiculous redundant credentialing processes. The teacher of the year in one state cannot teach in another state without mountains of red tape and bureaucratic hoops. A Harvard mathematics professor would not be able to teach high school math without the same nonsense. I don't want to hear any school districts complain about teacher shortages they did this to themselves.

Please keep doing Day in the Life! Great examples for incoming teachers...I have been a sub for two years, taught preschool for a year, and going back to school to get my actual teaching license, and this is helping me think about what I could do differently to become a better sub and hopefully a better teacher...

Wish I can have some teachers like you in my school; maybe come and spend a vacation here on an island in Micronesia. I hope someone can read this and at least to think about it. I am recruiting for teachers now; Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Mechanic, Carpentry, Agriculture, Food & Nutrition, Sewing, Child Development.

What if your students generate their answers using ChatGPT? Does your district have a policy? Oh, & what about citations for the info?
@teachwithwoolf11 ай бұрын
We have a “no phones” policy but it can be hard to enforce. If I catch students using it on class work, they get one warning and partial credit. Any subsequent occurrences earn a zero w/no option to make it up. If it’s an assessment, automatic zero. I cite all text sources and try on images, maps etc. it can be hard to find the origin for some (I’m not going to cite “Pinterest,” for example). I don’t cite ChatGPT.

I love the way you are crushing your goals. I think you have such a solid plan in place that your growth is going to be through the roof! I think adding seasonal products will also help. We are both very similar in our TPT stories. November actually ended up being my best month ever though. I market primarily to Canadians and my Thanksgiving products hit a bigger audience (USA). I think that accounted for my growth. Keep creating excellent content! I love your videos!!! <3 Lara from Teaching Grotto Ps I think world history is a great idea because it's a broader concept that will sell well.

I had a very similar situation with my TpT store. I noticed educators/buyers are buying my smaller bundles ($2-$5) more than the larger bundles ($8-$12). I understand it, I’m similar in buying exactly what I need now a days. As always, thanks for the content. I think a lot of TpT sellers in the same boat, trying to branch out continuing to make more and more resources.

I've certainly heard that other sellers have seen a decrease in sales with our current economy, so that makes sense.
