I never get tired of watching 747's taking off and landing...My father loved watching any jets but the 747 left him speechless. He used to call them "lumber wagons" and he was in awe at how easily they would get them off the ground with such ease!!!!

Last scheduled landing. It was a very short runway for the 747. The planes probably left with a light load of fuel. But then everybody probably leaves with a light load. Isn't that why you go there?

The Sunset Beach Bar SXM has a live streaming web cam aimed at the beach right where the planes land. If you monitor their webcam and flightradar24 you can know when the planes are about to land. Really cool. Some planes come in very very low, especially the private jets and Sky High Airways Flight SHH972.
