Saving your video! I was looking for ideas for making something for my pens. I have several wooden cigar boxes I get from my work which usually get thrown out. A project like this would be perfect. I’m thinking of making storage in the top lid as well with maybe some elastic loops or Velcro loops to hold pens 🖊️ in the lid area.

It's so funny. I made my custom sailor at Stationery fest! I picked the same green body and white grip section. For my cap I picked the matching pale green and I now call it my Melon pen. We also picked the same holder and my name's also Jasminne 😂 so many coincidences!
@PensandJournal2 ай бұрын
It was bound to happen that we’d all somehow get matching pens because the choices were so limited 😮💨 But the experience was cool nonetheless Also @ngocngocnotes on instagram made the same pen as you at the fest 😆

Thanks for the summary of your pen journey. Mine also began with a Pelikan, a student model given me by a friend of the family when we were stationed in in Germany in 1970. I have long since misplaced that pen, but have continued to use fountain pens since then. Collecting really took off for me during the pandemic. Inks: Schaeffer cartridges until college. My first bottled ink was Parker Quink, which I used for years. Then, about 30 years ago I discovered that while I couldn't afford a Mont Blanc pen, writing with their ink was well within reach. Then Waterman, for years. Now, I love the exploration, and finally am willing to risk pigmented and shimmer inks -- which is why Jinhao is an important element in my collection. Not putting glitter in my Yard-O-Led!!! As to Grail Pen: fittingly out of reach. A maki-e Namiki Emperor. What a dream!
@PensandJournal7 ай бұрын
Yes I too hope to own a Mont Blanc soon. And totally agree on using less expensive pens with shimmer - never with the grails 😬😊

The Cantaloupe color is gorgeous!!! Ah, I need to see them in person at the SF pen show to see which one I might want hahaha! I wanted mango smoothie because that is my favorite, but I'm not sure if I like the color combination. Unless Mango wasn't one of them because I thought that Passionfruit one was the mango at first haha! Thanks for sharing your haul with us, Jatz!
@PensandJournal7 ай бұрын
There’s wild berry - pink pen Blue Moon - blue pen Passion Friit - Yellow pen Ocean Water - geeenish pen Cantaloupe- orange pen They’re so much better in person, I think the camera gives them a darker tone than what they really are, so if you do get to see them at the pen show - you’ll want them all 😅🤣 Good luck on your search 🤍
