Masterpiece is still the best for me from the temptations . I was 19 when it came out in 1973 and I am still listening to it till date. Indeed a Masterpiece.

since I met you I've begun to feel so strange Every time I speak your name That's funny You say that you are so helpless, too That you don't know what to do Each night I pray There will never come a day When you up and take your love away Say you feel the same way, too And I wonder what It is I feel for you (Could it be I'm falling in love) With you, baby (Could it be I'm falling in love) Woo (Could it be I'm falling in love) With you With you With you (With you) I don't need all those things That used to bring me joy You've made me such a happy boy And honey, you'll always be The only one for me Meeting you was my destiny You can be sure I will never let you down When you need me I'll be around And darling, you'll always be The only one for me Heaven made you specially (Could it be I'm falling in love) With you, baby (Could it be I'm falling in love) Woo (Could it be I'm falling in love) With you With you With you (With you) And darling, you'll always be The only one for me Heaven made you specially (Could it be I'm falling in love) With you, baby (Could it be I'm falling in love) I want to know now, baby (Could it be I'm falling in love) With you With you With you (With you) I walk around with my heart in my hands, hey I walk the street as long as I can, baby I used to sing fa fa fa fa But right now I feel so good, I sing la la la la Once you get me up, won't let me down Just let this feeling carry me on Skip the beats with my heart girl

Lyrics: Some people will always have it made Some people will live in poverty for the rest of their days Time marches on Yesterday is dead and gone Life is uncertain, let me hear you say "Yeah" Death is final, yes it is There'll be days of sunshine and laughter But don't forget you're gonna have to shed some tears, oh It's the law of the land, my brother, oh Whether you like it or you understand It's the law of the land Laws made by almighty man Live by The Good Book, if you're able You must play your cards on top of the table When you gamble, you either win or lose In life everybody's got to pay some dues, well It's the law of the land Whether you like it or you understand, you can't change it It's the law of the land Laws made by almighty man Hey, it's the law, the law of the land Whether you like it or you understand It's the law, the law of the land Laws made by almighty man Being somebody can't be found Until you find yourself, think about it You might not like being who you are but you better start likin' it 'Cause you sure can't be nobody else In other words, I can't be you, ain't no way, yeah You can't be me, well well That's how it is, my sisters and brothers And that's the way that Good Lord meant it to be It's the law of the land, (Well) Whether you like it or you understand, (Say say) It's the law of the land Laws made by almighty man (Lookee here) Most of a man's day is governed by a clock For your own protection your doors you must lock What goes around, comes around And what goes up, yeah, must come down It's the law of the land Whether you like it or you understand It's the law of the land Laws made by almighty man It's the law of the land, everybody else say Whether you like it or you understand

Great original by The Tempts, which, of course, Marvin Gaye had the hit with but you've got to hear it by The Monitors (with Richard Street leading)!

Late brother JAY and used to jamm to this song while it was hot. I surely miss all three of my brothers. Andy David and Jay. All three left and now in the hands of Our Lord.

Who is that singing at 0:49? Sounds like Richard to me, but according to Otis, this song was Paul!'s last recording with the group and that it was recorded as a quartet without Eddie

Read this song was written for Barbara McNair and because she was on Motown as usually songs were passed around for others to record as in the case of the great Stevie Wonder. Both are beautiful.

The background vocals sound like the Originals or the Four Tops. It’s a beautiful Motown style recording. I always love to hear Barbara McNair sing she is so passionate.

The story from a close buddy is that LA, Washington HS' band came to Fremont. They got off the bus and walk through the middle of the Pathfinders campus jamming the baseline on the tubas and playing the beat on the snare drums. All of the Fremont students were looking out the window as they marched to the football game in the huge showdown between the southern league Giants

I was born the year this album was released. 30 years ago My disabled uncle came to live with us for a while. I put the vinyl on and played this for my own enjoyment. The man couldn't resist the beats. he hobbled out of his room and called me soul brother...
