Thanks for the great video, had the Seastream Angler 120. Two issues were that beneath the seat they crack. Issues with the scupper holes with leaking. That was two, now moving to the Lure 11.5. Praying that it’s a little more solid. It’s a scary feeling to be on the water and constantly thinking if you’re going to lose your gear. Be safe

The V2 lure they addressed a few issues from the V1 version. I've had mine a couple of years with zero issues

I did my first float with Scott to I caught my first Smallmouth on topwater lure up there it is a blast I got burnt slam up but it was a pretty good trip I'll be ready for the next flight

Awesome setup man! I have the same kayak and I'm deciding to make the switch to trolling motor, couple of quick questions for you. Can you go all day using the trolling motor on that battery? What kind of speeds are you getting with the watersnake?

@@baseballgod103 yes, I've not killed it yet on the water. I get 2 mph on low and 3.5-3.6 on high.

@@baseballgod103 from my calculations, to totally deplete battery, I'd have to run it 6 hours straight on high and 2.5 on low. But as usual, when you are fishing, it's on and off and on and off to fish. I've had it in the river all day fishing around it and never killed it yet

Coming up that way this weekend. Floating down the river sat North of fries from Riverside boat ramp to ramp at Patton Mill Lane. I know I've seen you fish that area before. Any pointers? We're fishing from a canoe with paddles only.

@@42captjoey yeah, that's one our main floats. Riverside to Old Town. Senkos texposed weightless has been fire for us. Fish eddies and calm areas before and after rocks/rapids (there are enough major rapids on this float).

Good video man. Always a good day on the water when you are catching them. I have a question buddy? What kind of sandals are you wearing? I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe & my foot outgrow shoes , socks , & boots when I was young & Flip flops 🩴is the only footwear that will barely and I mean barely fit on my feet 🦶 because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴 straps. I have to kayak 🛶 barefooted 👣 because I don't want to break the only footwear that will barely fit me. I am looking for some good comfortable sandals to wear for kayaking 🛶 because I am a chubby fat dude & sometimes I have to walk my kayak 🛶 in low water over rivers rocks barefooted 👣. Yes I will probably end up taking my time as well. I've been doing research on kayaks and I keep coming back to the lure. I really like it. And I've seen videos of people modifying that center console to install a trolling motor. I didn't know there was something already created for an easy install. Makes me want it even more lol

You do have to have the Feelfree rudder with the motor if you put it in middle console. It doesn't turn well just using motor. The rudder makes it handsfree too

This is the exact rig I will be looking for in the future and as a Vet I would love to support another. 3 questions if you dont mind answering. What is the tube on the top for? How much does this rig weigh unloaded? How much weight can this rig support?

Tube thing is a Rod Locker/Tube. According to spec page, it weighs 750ish. I'm able to push it around my yard, but it pulls AWESOME. not bouncy. No clue on weight capacity. It holds 5-6 of my kayaks great

You realize that a double paddle holder will hold the ketch board correct? Don't get me wrong over engineering can be a good thing, but you're talking about $100 plus down time of waiting.

Um I can fully pull it up into the recess on bottom of the Lure recess. If I deploy it all the way down for use, it can stick down a good 12" or more

I hear ya! This rarely happens to me anymore, in this case my braid to fluoro knot caught an eyelet and caused it 😂. Still makes me madder than 🔥 when it happens lol

I have the same kayak and motor , Just done a little different . I have 2 downriggers i use with it . I also run 2 fishfinders if running downriggers. The first fish finder is rigged to the bow . i used it as fish finder , but mainly depthfinder for motor . second fishfinder is just used with the downriggers . I have a anchor trolley on each side with quick releases just incase .

I think everyone who has finished for a while has this happen once in a while. You are targeting a certain spot, have a bad cast, so you start ripping it back in and wham! Out of nowhere, a fish smashes your lure. The best is when it happens right at your feet or the boat and scares you. 👍good job, dude, and good fish, too!
