I owned one a few years back. Looked and sounded great. Major problem was the radiator has to be in the front, and there was little to no air flow to it. It always overheated no mater how many electric fans I added with a switch to manually turn the fan on.

I just bought a Honda HR-V 2016 this week and mine has different controls for the heating and a/c system. I have touch controls but would much rather have knobs. Did yours come with the knobs from the factory? Curious if you had swapped that out yourself as well or if that is even possible. Thanks for the great informative videos. I just subscribed today

Thank you very much for subscribing and watching we really appreciate it! Our HR-V had the factory knobs/controls, and those actually remained untouched during this radio install (we just pulled the radio out and installed the new one that was it) 👍

Have there been any long term side effects because of the install? I want to try something similar but afraid of causing parasitic power draw or other problems

This was installed for about a year with no issues, and then was replaced by a DaSaita radio you can see on our channel too 😊

Hey I wanted to ask if it’s the same as for if the lock is going down but it’s getting jammed on the way up
@freshvintage8 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! I would look into the door to see if maybe a plastic clip partially broke; this may be giving just enough flex to let the door lock bind and not fully unlock the door like you are describing 👍👍

Did you replace your blend mode door actuator yet? If not then that's exactly why we made this video 😊

Didn't realize I had to take the whole car apart. Toyota Tacoma uses no tools 3 minutes.

Did you get the steering wheel control and backup camera working?
@freshvintage16 күн бұрын
Yes we did - if you're not able to get them to work correctly after the install reach out to the company for tech support as we had to do that a bit too 👍👍

This isn't the same device that I have on my 2014 Fusion. I have an actual antenna coming out of it and not a fin style. Your thoughts?
@freshvintage17 күн бұрын
That's the original factory antenna you have 👍 most of these break off in car washes, and this is a lower cost way to replace it without needing to pull the headliner down to swap out the OEM antenna.
