Hi mate. Don't worry, Cardiff mainly focus on interviews with regards to applications. So hopefully its smooth sailing from there :)

Unfortunately, I cant help there because im a British student. If your having trouble with regards to international applications its probably best to contact the university and ask for advice directly.

I did Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I got A, A, B. I also did Drama as an AS level and got an A*

When you say level 3 English and maths. Do you mean i need an A-Level in Maths and English.

It means you need a satisfactory pass in GCSE maths and English to be eligible for the medical apprenticeship scheme :)

At the start it can be quite challenging because you leave your friends. However, its a great chance to get involved in a medical team as you have no other choice because you are legit living on hospital grounds

1. Ensure you have a solid answer for “why you want to study medicine at Cardiff University” 2. Be up to date with current medical topics surrounding new infectious diseases and the NHS 3. Try to determine how your extracurricular activities can be used to showcase why you will be a good medical student i.e. member of sports team shows communication and if you were the captain shows leadership Cardiff MMIs are designed to determine whether you have a logical thought process and also to determine what type of person you are. So if you can prove to them you have the key qualities to be a doctor that’s all that counts Good luck for you interviews I hope this helped 😊

I don’t remember the exactly total score but I got 613 average (this didn’t include the decision making section as this was a new trial section introduced for my year and didn’t count to my overall score). Hope this helped 😊

Thank you so much for this video! I'm currently preparing for interviews and I noticed that on the Cardiff Uni website it says Cardiff has an integrated medicine course but in your video, you mention that it's CBL. Which one should I mention in my interview? Thank you!

From looking at the website. Cardiff University offer case based learning (CBL) (where you learn a breadth of medicine through individual cases on topics) but also begins with PCS (where everyone is given tutorials and lectures to cover an overview of physiology and basic anatomy. So technically it’s both CBL and lecture style teaching but CBL is continued throughout your studying. I hope that helps 😊
