We did the first encounter with the glass floors differently though, we had our teacher upstairs doing dps the entire time, and we used the sword exploit to get into the room at the very start of the encounter without the room killing us! Finished the encounter in about 60 seconds!

I attempted this with a teacher and another guy last night, and it was my first time ever running DSC all together let alone 3 man so it was really challenging! Our third had to leave after 3 attempts of the final encounter so we didn't finish it yet but I definitely like the idea and the little exploits we used to make it doable. I think the final encounter is gonna be a real struggle for me though. I've been enlisted as the scanner and I just wasn't quick enough on calling out the boxes each time and then I wasn't getting enough damage in the engines either it got a bit messy! But I appreciate the video a lot as hopefully on our second attempt I get it right this time 🤘

Old vid, but just pointing out about Facet of Hope.... Acrobat Dodge procs Radiant every time you use it, which is a buff. Hope should have almost 100% uptime as a result just doing the transcendence canceling :)

update post The Final Shape: for security, i highly recommend Bastion, as it 3 bursts without buff. also good for titans and hunters for the melee bonuses. for Atraks, **hunters should use Star-Eater Blade Barrage, not Celestial** this is because the animation of shooting, swapping out of/in to your Golden Gun is long asf. Titans should use Cuirass Thundercrash, and warlocks Star-Eater nova bomb. be sure to have a weaken grenade, always Parasite THEN super. can’t recommend much for descent (haven’t run it a lot) that’s abt it, other than try to use Felwinter’s Helm to debuff final boss (this is coming from someone that hasn’t trioed, but have seen a lot of ppl do it/done a lot of 6 man DSC)

@@caveman2480 I believe you are correct, but I usually run them just in case. It never hurts to have more damage even against adds, and there’s nothing I really need for boots. You could definitely run scavs and orb mods on your boots but I personally like surges more. Good catch though!

just used this for descent and cleared the encounter on our 4th attempt, worked like a charm. One thing to add, is we had the suppressor start on the opposite side of their assigned bomb so they'd be closer we also...almost forgot about the escape afterwards...which would have been a bummer. (edit 2 weeks later) we finally cleared taniks, you weren't kidding when you said it was the hardest fight, we could reliably get to him with what we learned here in about 40 minutes, but that fight is an absolute beast, there is so little room for error. BUT WE DID IT! now on to much harder 3 mans. Thanks again for the guides!

For those doing oracles, if you want to free up a heavy slot, you can use "the call" instead of xenophage, it also one shots the oracles. We cleared tonight using your guide as a basis for strategies, it worked great! thanks!

@@bryanmoberg8408 that’s amazing to hear! And great idea with the rocket sidearm, I haven’t really ran vogs since those came out so that’s really good information to know. Especially since now we have a solar special sidearm to proc death throes. I’ll definitely run that going forwards

@@maxniemi4584 that’s a really good question! I would assume not as relic attacks are typically not considered by the game when proccing perks, even if they have melee attacks or such. However if I ever think about it I’ll try and test it out :)

You mean like the game? Or the activity? Cause this is the last encounter in the Destiny 2 raid "The Last Wish". Its supposed to be completed with 6 people but right now you can solo the last section :)

@@kassidylaine7568 I unfortunately don’t have a two man guide, but the strategy is the exact same as with three people. TLDR: One person gets teleported and the other person goes out of bounds to avoid getting pulled. Inner person solos oracles and outer person reads and opens portal. You do damage, then rinse and repeat. If you have any questions let me know!

Non Flawless Strat: One person jump off map and wait for teammate to get teleported. Get callout for Mars or Venus, then give Oracle Callouts. Spam Touch of Flame Verity Buffed Fusion Nades. Flawless Strat: One person go up to the back of the room where Atheon spawns and heat rises up the glass pillars. At a certain height you are out of his TP range. Then open portal and give Oracle Callouts.

Just trying this rn and the same way you do threaded spike on hunter you can use swarm nade after you finish dark for much faster light transcendence in conjuction with gjally in the heart

Maybe go inmost light on class item to refresh melee without the gamblers dodge. At x2 enchanced inmost it only takes like 3s to get melee back and you have heart for way more than that, could have acrobat every ready every time

If you have threaded spike on it will throw that first giving darkness energy, then just fire gjally the second you are teleported to get light energy. I hate to say it but currently not, prismatic is the only to do it as of right now. There is always a chance a new method comes along later that doesn’t use prismatic, but there’s no telling when that will happen or if it will ever happen :(

@@priz1307 You used to be able to but unfortunately they patched it. As of now using just lances will do nothing. The reason they are used is prismatic can drop the heart, and the lances can then cancel your transcendence. The lances are just there to keep your transcendence and let you infinitely drop the heart. It just so happens to work a similar way, but sadly just lances won’t let you drop the heart anymore :/

^^^ You just have to be on acrobats dodge. It’s super lenient, you just have to do it before the transcendence animation finishes as far as I can tell. If you want to do it on titan just grab a diamond lance immediately after popping transcendence.

Thank you! And that was not me, but I have tried using the diamond lance method. You are 100% correct that this way is easier as it does not require kills and you don’t have to keep track of when lances despawn. Titan is not insanely difficult, but hunter is a cake walk :)

It’s definitely still possible albeit harder. Main thing is you unfortunately have to match surges, you should only be doing like 10% less damage then last season of you do. Also survivability will be a fair bit harder, but DSC ads don’t hit that hard so that shouldn’t be a problem. Basically, it’s still possible, you just have to play better and match surges. Hopefully they revert it cause it really sucks for low man’s

Good video! Just two small nitpicky things that I would like to mention. 1st, on atraks I would recommend swapping to lament after the first damage phase as it will do significantly more damage than a zero stack parasite. As long as you rally with reserves you'll have more than enough ammo after the swap. 2nd, on taniks, movement exotics (Dunemarchers/Transversives) don't actually increase your speed when you're holding a core. This is because when you are holding a core you are not able to sprint and those exotics, as you mentioned in the video, only improve your sprint speed. What scanner can do instead is run tractor cannon and hit the boss without right before grabbing their core, this will give them a short but significant movement speed buff before they get detained.

Thanks! And funnily enough both of your points were thing I chose to omit for better or worse! We actually did what your first point says and switched to lament for our first few runs of Atraks. However after we had done it a couple times we felt it wasn’t necessary at all and provided a minimal boost compared to parasite. Not switching also gave us more ammo to speed through the jumping puzzle. For your second point, while movement exotics do not increase speed with bombs, it can still help. As you pick up a bomb and run forwards, before it fully registers, you are still sprinting for a second or so, which is boosted. Additionally, transverses and other movement exotics can help you get from the bank to the newly dropped bomb faster which, while unlikely, could help every once in a while. It’s not a massive boost but there isn’t really anything necessary to run for setup, so I figured it’s better safe than sorry. We also tried tractor but it didn’t help too much. With 10 Mobil and transversives our scanner could consistently bank their bomb. Actually, sometimes with tractor the scanner was too fast and made it out of the operators line of sight! We really just didn’t find it necessary in the slightest, and without tractor we were able to do a good deal more damage. Both of those points are good, we just didn’t really find them necessary to do and we felt like it was took more effort than it was worth. Thanks again for the feedback!

we used grand overture instead of parasite, the upstairs group can easily recharge it shooting the panels after disposing of bombs, and have a full volley ready by the time the scanner gets back upstairs. Our scanner also used star eater scales so they had a strong super ready for the second trip downstairs, that way they didn't have to rely on parasite more than once. Our dps wasn't top notch, but we got her to final stand after 5 clones with minimal trouble.

how about instead of keep sending these damn guides because I've watched all the guides I know how to do it from the inside out how about going out and helping the people instead of having these jackasses they say they know what they're doing and then by the fourth time they give up knowing that it can be frustrating and hard because you make one little f****** and everybody gets white how about that how about actually helping people oh wait you got what you wanted so never mind you don't need to help people

not being able to swap buffs makes it so much harder, it's not horrible once you get the rhythm down, but it was a huge roadblock for us, a 4th would have made a huge difference.

I’ve never tried low man dsc. It’s so cool that you can just delay the suppress in descent, allowing you to just casually do 3 bomb. Though I am curious how you didn’t get detained more in Taniks. Awesome run though!

Thanks! And basically suppressor just cannot get detained at Taniks. Only operator and scanner. This lets the operator preaim at the detain bubble making it much faster :)

Conflux: use parasite it 1 shots wyverns at 2p worm stacks just kill them after a few seconds so they don’t respawn Templar relic holder drop well the other 2 use strand warlock super with 1 running gally with surges topped with double slug ophidians and the other necrotic grips rocket strand warlock. Relic holder does a bit of dps where they can Gatekeeper run volatile get a goblin with volatile place him next to praetorian and kill the goblins the shield will disappear then repeat 2 more times whilst relic is in Venus Atheon run verities brow die let your teammate revive you before he gets sent in call out and do encounter like normal if you don’t 1 phase run heat rises climb the vault stay up there until atheon sends in then repeat

For Templar right after you shoot relic super spam melee you’ll be able to break yourself out with relic hit before u get suspended and try do this for the rest of the hits after Templar hits negation

All the specifics are at the end of the video, but main thing to note is verities + fusion base + touch of flame for insane grenade damage and regen. Make sure to run a solar weapon to get stacks of death throes

As the player not in a portal on gk you can simply go afk and open the portals when needed, and on atheon you dont have to have 2 warlocks for verities as the encounter intrinsically gives higher ability regen during damage

I didnt even think about just waiting to open plates in gatekeepers, i like that idea! But yeah, as shadow said, verities gives bonus damage and much better grenade regen. The intrinsic buff times vengeance gives to ability regen speed alone is not enough to throw constant fusions

I reccomend the relic holder in Venus in gatekeepers run a random kinetic weapon, forberance, and Gjallarhorn. You can stand by the steps of the portal and do practically everything from there. 2 gjally shots will kill the wyvern or you can gjally and forbearance. Forbearance for the waves of ads that spawn. When the praetorian spawns, you just run at it and kill it, then reset back to the spot. Basically fire your weapon -> reload -> pick up relic -> repeat. Additionally, whoever is outside doesn't have to defend the plates. You can hug the back of the wall (near the portal/glass throne thing). Have the people inside the portal call when the last wyvern/praetorian spawns and clear off the plates of the overload + kill the gatekeeper and open the portal.

that's what I did on our run, I'd toss out forbearance and witherhoard shots in between relic drops to clear the ads, then used apex predator to kill the wyverns, two shots each and all 3 guns are auto-loading so no issues there.

You can also stasis freeze the shielded Minotaurs with conditional finality’s first shot. I haven’t low man’d this but I’ve solo’d mars before for random runs of VOG and have found conditional to be by far the easiest freeze method. I even run Solar for survival in case I mess up a push I can pop well and focus on pushing the Minotaur off the edge and sunbracers spam any adds that got close to the conflux
