Ez trick, he had one end of a portal inside the hat and the other was in a Chinese Dice factory and they were just sending dice through the portal

4:32 is why I love watching fool us with absolutely fantastic magicians like you Paul. Seeing someone so well trained getting sucked into an act that they can't help go with the no way in hell do you have something more with just their expression.

I thought this trick would take years to figure out. The “****” shuffle is quite easy to pick up when you learn the nuanced finger movements and I got it in a few weeks. Also surprising how easy it was to “mark the deck” lol.

I feel like there are a lot of Monday morning magicians in the comments. Like, “oh yeah I saw that” or “the dice clacked.” Just enjoy the trick. There’s a reason this guy was on Fool Us 5 times and more than likely none of you have been

I was amazed by this trick the first couple of times but now that I’m watching it again it’s pretty clear that you slide the big die into the hat when you pick it up and lean back to laugh. Pretty cool trick nonetheless

It's weird to me the number of people here commenting on how they don't understand the code Penn uses. Sometimes he gets really obscure and no one is mentioning it, but in this one he's really clear with the forces and index and people don't get it.

It's funny when, as a magician, you understand what he says in code (at least kinda) lol

If he counted down 47, there would only be 5 cards left. There were at least 7 that I counted

This guy was horrible. You could so easily see him pull the hat back to his chest and then put one arm/hand goes under the table to load the hat.. Amazing what kind of lame crap could make it onto national TV in the 70's.

Paul does close up table magic in Boston now. I and my family have seen him twice. He's good at his craft and just as nice as you might expect. If you're in the area I HIGHLY recommend his show.

The thing that bugs me is when he moved the card with the pick on it, at 3:02, the way he moved the pick by passing his hand over the card. That seemed as an unusual way to move a pick. You don't have to cover the card with your hand to move a pick. This feels like this was the moment there was a switch of card. Also, he went back to the deck of cards directly after that strange move.
@primer164 ай бұрын
5:19. he counted out to 47 and removed the 47th card leaving 46. but then he lays down the second section of cards that were "higher" than 47, and there are 7.......46+1+7 is not 52. edit, and the marker segment at the end would have given him enough time to remove 2 cards in case they examined the deck after. idk how all that helps the trick but i thought it was interesting.

I have been practicing the perfect faro for several months now and having a really hard time getting the knack, I’ve been experimenting with marlos from bottom to top weave from revolutionary card technique and giobbis from top to bottom from card college 3, I’ve also watched several KZbin tutorials which I must say, only one seems to really have the knack but still can’t nail it consistently, I’ve been doing magic for over 20 years and never really played with the perfect faro but am having a real hard time with it, I’m now considering giobbi personal instruction 3 and 4 which is around 75 dollars which I don’t really want to pay because I already have all of the books and I only want it to view him explaining what he explains in the book, I’m also considering Michael closes work to see if that can get me there, any tips , pointers or advice would be much appreciated
