It's also good to have multiple cousins that are older. I got beaten up by this older dude and it was a fair fight but I was just too small/young. I went home and just went on about my day till my older cousin who is the same age as the guy saw my face. He dragged me with him to find the dude as we lived in the same village in the islands. I've never realised just how good my cousin is at fighting till then. He destroyed this dude. I realised that every time I tried to fight my cousins I had no chance and they all just took it easy on me. The dude later on became good friends with my cousin. He wasn't a bully but my cousin just thought it was unfair to beat on a younger kid.

My brother was getting bullied from his "friends" in highschool he's a year older than me but we always acted like twins. He told me one day what was happening, so I said challenge the main boy whos harrassing you to 1 on 1 in the back field, dont stress about the others I've got your back. The boy accepted, and my brother procceded to kick the shit out of his bully in front of all my brothers' old mates. They later came back with more of them, but the first one Who came towards us grabbed me by my jacket and got a concussion for his troubles, they all got the message after that and my brother was never bothered again. Violence isn't always the answer but bullies will never leave you alone until you stand up for yourself

I went rhroufh school being picjed on with no help at all as far as i could tell from my non present parents at school, which was always si no surprise there. I had to stand up for myself even though im not really that confident. When my daughter and friend was being cirled by boys younger than her but much bigger i was talking to another parent with autistic children too. I interrupted their circling of my daughter and they bolted snd this is inside the primary school after the bell had gone. Thry aldo told her to face that she didnt belong in school, i made a complaint about that too and they got spoken too by tht drputy principal. I'm 53 and i dont think things gave changed much, except the bullies keep on picking on those who they think are weaker than them. The irony is thaf they have work ao much harder just to achieve what everyone seems to do naturally so yeah not weak at all.
