What are those screws for?? And where do they go?

@@1zzrahusna All I could find out on some message boards is that those screws are for his waist, supposedly you replace the existing screws with those and it would help tighten the waist rotate. But I still haven't bothered on my copy, the waist isn't too bad to me.

So it takes half an hour to transform? That's a long time dang. But, I don't care how many people say that the unique toys figure is better, In my personal opinion, this is the best looking knight optimus prime out right now. I'm gonna order the metallic one next month, and I can't wait to get him. Ever with his weird proportions, I think he looks amazing!

@@splatdeity3798 to be fair, it's a bit easier to transform when my arms aren't 2 feet out in front of me with a phone in my way as well lol, but yes it does take me about 15 minutes or so normally. Complicated, but I think the end result is worth it!

@@KingDie-ly7lc I have decided not to glue them, but super glue would work fine if you wanted to. I have used Loctite super glue ultra gel control before, got it from a hardware store. I used that to fix a broken piece on a different figure, came out well.

Very helpful video, I cannot gush over this figure enough, it's flawless in my opinion, made especially so as they done it twice and improved on it!!! My only gripe is that I would add more arm and wrist articulation.

Thanks for the guide! So far I've kinda had to rely on the promo videos for this figure which only transformed him from car to robot (I wasn't fond of the instructions provided in-box), and it was a huge hassle trying to go in the reverse order, but your video helped a lot.

Your transformation guides are very good. Very detailed. Maybe you should use a white background instead of black because black against black is difficult to see. I hope you do more in the future

I finally found a review that shows the same problem my copy (a reissue as well) has with the chest pannels: they don't go in all the way when positioned on the chest, but they don't even come close to one another like yours do when on the abdomen. Result? I can't have it transformed in any of the 2 alt forms. I don't know if it's a matter of the slider connectors being misassembled (L & R are inverted on mine, but they are in a lot of reviews I've seen, yet those copies don't seem to have a problem working properly), or if it's a matter of the tabs have an excess of material that needs shaving off. Either way, the seller say they can't do anything for me. Such a shame! My last resort is contacting FT directly, but I don't have much hope they'll be able to help me... Great review by the way.

Great video! Not sure if you are aware, but on the back of the black knee joints there are little panels that you can flip out that are built in gap fillers for the back of the legs in robot mode.

I'm suckered in. I already had Grimlock , but this comic edition is a must have for me; looks too good with the complementary yellow and blue. Also it matches perfectly with Swoop! Also the packaging is great. Just bought Shockwave too. Good luck with your channel!

I've seen a lot of breakage on the feet part. Is he really that fragile?

I've heard a couple people have had broken feet out of the box, mine came on ship freight from China and was a little beat up but the plastic clamshell kept him all protected. For transforming and posing, I'm careful and haven't had any issues, but he does require some care. The toes are die cast with a skinny piece of plastic supporting them that can easily twist if you grab it at the wrong place.

Xtransbots with their usual quality issues.. One release is good next one sucks.. This one just needs a little extra love and care to be a much better release... I cant' get the backpack to peg at all. the thighs don't rotate.. gonna have to do a lot of work on this guy..

Taking those thighs apart to either oil them up or sanding just a little of the mushroom peg off seems to be the trick for the thighs, and the backpack was rough, but the first time was the worst for me.

@@T2rx6 that's what has me concerned with their new constructicons. I think big load and ground bite look better than mmc's prototypes, and might not be as expensive as fanstoys, but it's a hard choice knowing the iffy build quality and non existent quality control of Xtb.
