Brazilian Jiu Jitsu of Carlos Gracie originally have Strong Takedowns, Hélio Jiu Jitsu that focus more in ground game because Hélio small body made him focus more in skills and less in power.

Wrestling is very likely the oldest martial art in human history. Wrestling didn't revolutionise BJJ. BJJ went and did its own thing, and then had to play catch up with the rest of the history of grappling to become the modern sport it is today.

Also spend 2-4 years focused on wrestling to be decent at it. 4-8 years for a solid wrestler, state placer to college level on average. Yes some can do it faster due natural ability and coaching, but its not the norm.

CJI ( Craig jones invitational), an invitational tournament broken into two weight classes so you’ll see some matches between some smaller vs bigger opponents. This was its debut year with the main event being Craig jones vs gabbi Garcia. It’s a the money raised goes towards a charity for orphans and a prize of i believe 1 million was given to the winner. It’s fight after fight, with the rules altered to prevent fighters from just being able to stall by lying down. It was a very good event if I do say so myself, it displayed a lot of talent and names to be watching for. Hopefully this can lead to a ADCC vs CJI event
