According to this demo I should never be able to see a full moon during the day. Can someone explain. Thank you.

Isn't time the independent variable, and the temperatures the dependent variables? The independent variable should be on the x axis.

My question is still If it is a full moon on my side of the Earth, Is it a full moon on the other side? I think Yes, because the Earth is spinning on its axis, doing its night and day thing, much faster (in 24 hours) then the moon is revolving around the Earth. Right? So the earth spins, and the moon is still in the same position in space relative to the Sun and Earth. Is this correct? Thanks

Thank you for posting this video, it will be beneficial in giving a basic overview of the Coriolis effect to my second grader. Ignore any negative comments on your video, your students are smiling, doing things with their hands, and having fun with technology- they will remember what you teach them far better than they would from a boring classroom setting.

This experiment is not performed correctly. The plate should be moving with the ball, before the ball is released. The ball would then have the momentum of the plate before being allowed to chart its own course. The white release ramp has been designed to accomplish this, but the students are not using it correctly.

nice video. I was wondering, when can we see a 'horizontal' waxing gibbeous? and in period of 5 hours of visual sighting, how does the moon go from a vertical position, to a horizontal position? just some interesting questions. Thanks

These videos are difficult to make & this is pretty good. But I think the demo showed the moon revolving around the earth in a straight plane. I think it should be at an angle. Also it would help if these demos showed how the moon looked from the north/south hemispheres

THANKS FOR THIS VID!!! now i get how the moon phases work. this vid clearly showed me how they appear and it is way better than the diagrams i see in my textbook. thanks soo much :)

This is not a demo about the coriolis-effekt. It is only a demo about how a heavy mass is following a stright line depending of its initial movement. When the board is rotating the heavy ball is following a curved line, on the board, but not according to the nonmoving table underneath. (I suggest)

I think that this is a great way to help the kids learn about science, by helping to teach it themselves! Great job!

This has but a single thing to do with coriolis effect. Which is amazing and interesting, btw.

@preciouslilcambo15 I am in a REAL class; the Prof. isn't good at all, so I'm trying to find better info. so I understand. Let me guess, Miss Precious, by your little teeny-bopper name, you're one the "lil" kids who made this (or their mother). I obviously didn't find anything here useful. Leave youtube for something other than kids wanting attention.
@Sahrahleee13 жыл бұрын
@knightbook1 then why don't you go take a real class instead of searching for youtube videos
@KCBfly2513 жыл бұрын
I'm really sick of kids from elementary, middle and high school posting so-called youtube videos. It's irritating & for attention. I want a real, academic approach, not some kids trying to look cool on here for their few minutes of fame.
