Been watching and keeping up with the Chiefs since 1960…when Lamar Hunt tried to get a franchise in Texas but the NFL said no…so Lamar Hunt( think Hunt ketchup and tomatoes in cans) got together with some other wealthy guys…Miami, Buffalo, Boston, Denver, San Diego, Oakland…New York..to start,their own league as a way to say F you…they drafted top college players including Joe Namath…and Kansas City signed veteran QB Len Dawson…my point is , I was all in from the start, but I joined the Army in October 1966..and by ‘68 I was in Vietnam…then Thailand for 44 months..5 years in Frankfurt, Germany, some stateside duty then a year in Korea…we heard games on the radio…or saw scores in the Army newspaper…Stars and Stripes…but for ten years I couldn’t watch….no satellite tv back then…but we kept up as best as we could…

The penalty in Xavier was his TD celebration…where you pretend to draw a gun and shoot…not allowed…15 yards so the extra point kick was from long distance…later in the game Kelce was flagged for throwing the ball or dunking it over the goal post….something they outlawed in 2014…but the touchdown pass Kelce caught passed Tony Gonzales …for all time TD for KC tight ends..,and he was honoring Tony…cuz that was his signature celebration…MAHOMES passed Peyton Manning for touchdowns in first 6 years…244…Russell had 5 sacks plus the triple,coverage interception …MAHOMES had 320 yards and 3 TD no sacks…no interceptions…

There was no reason to throw it away. It was a 2 point conversion so the interception didn't even count. Travis Kelce passed Tony Gonzalez in TD catches as a Chief, so he did Tony's celebration of dunking the ball over the field goal in his honor. Even though it has been outlawed by the league.
