did you notice any loss of controls when tapping into rear harnesses? Did you do the same colors from the front in the rear as well?

No issue after installation. I don't remember exactly but you can test to see which one has constant power.

that is what is called fake chrome. very light duty and will not work on real chrome

What grit size do you use to sanding before adding fiberglass? Also dies the fiberglass cover the expanding foam holes??

600 before applying the gel coat and fiberglass. Yes it covers the holes.

That video game me so much hope and inspiration and i will make my own!!! you did a great damn job, turned out to be simply amazing, professional work over there! do you think i could ignore the PVA agent and Mold release wax? would there be any issues if i didnt use those? im unable to find them anywhere in my country.

The mold won't separate if you ignore them. Look for a PVA alternative and use normal car wax.

(EDIT: Just a little advice, It was still good work 100%) I would use this as the cast and make a mold to make the final product. I'm a fan of cut precise pieces in one piece when possible for structural integrity.

Nothing, just didn't put too much layers of fiberglass to reduce heat.

You just measure it. I placed one vent randomly on one side than measured the same position for the other.

Great tutorial, followed it to the end but had one problem. When everything was fully installed, the illuminate fuse for the glove box light and interior illumination blew. I replaced it with a 15A as the manual suggested adding 5A and started the car but my battery had died from all the tests . After jump starting the car, the led strips, interior illumination and rear running lights still not working. Any recommendations? Did you end up upping your fuse to 15A as well?

No issues for me, still running the original 10A fuse. Maybe try to remove the glove box bulb if you haven't, especially if it's the old halogen one and leave only the wires for the controller connected.

The kit used is 6 in 1 Not Rainbow. If you want more modes and animations select "Full Color". The strips can be cut between every LED.

I received the package. Though I have one more question.. Sub controller does not connect with main controller via cable if i am right? It only use power from switch in door panel? And wireless communicate with main controller ? And i need a name for the app because the web site is not working from QR code 😕

@@FPSDuLe They communicate via bluetooth and only need to be powered somewhere. The app is Magic Lantern.

Cool idea with the foam!! I would suggest using chicken wire next time and putting the fiber glass on that to save weight and have straighter lines A good youtube video for inspiration - "How to make a fiberglass mold for a motorcycle seat // Paul Brodie's Shop"
