@giorgiofornasier82534 жыл бұрын

@agnieszkasander37704 жыл бұрын

You're messing her hairdo, hehehe. Now Lilly has to comb her feathers again. If you let her bite you, aren't you encouraging her to bite? Mine rarely bites me. 2x when I wasn't home for 6 hrs. He got mad at me. He keeps running around cage and calling me, but I wasn't home. One time, not sure why?

Man, super sweet bird. I wish I could do that with my parrotlet. He is soooo scared of everything. I can't even pet him. I try, but he bows down like that in fear ready to fly away. Who knows how long it will take him to fully trust me. Of course now he won't even trust me with his bank account #, hehehe.

Yes, she was hand raised. But I also had one naturally raised bird, that I've got when he was very young and I tamed him too! He even wanted me to stroke him a bit :)

But I also had some birds (like Kiddo hier in video), who just didn't have a good character to be tamed, I think sometimes it's not possible to tame them...

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it. I'm trying to pet my bird, but he just freaks out whenever I get my other finger near him to pet him. I had to kidnap him in order to be able to pet him. Now he's a little bit less shy. Still has trust issues. I normally kiss him on his back and now can I somewhat approach my 2nd finger/right finger near him. I'm sure it will take a while before he can fully trust me. Now when I put my finger near him and say Step Up, he quickly flies on my finger. Before he would climb on it because of clipped wing. I was surprised when I put him down on the ground in the bathroom to wash my hand, he actually approached me. Normally he runs away like a little naked butt toddler, hehehe.

My second bird might be a parakeet. I was thinking of a cockatiel and a gouldian finch. I know cockatiel shed a lot of feathers and they can be very powdery. I can get allergy/running nose when I kiss him on his back. I scratch him with my chin to make him feel comfortable to me before I pet him w/ my finger. For now, this baby is enough for me before I get another baby.

MrT _ It would be better if you had two birds of the same kind. This kind can very agressive to other kinds of birds (even if they are much bigger)

Jessica I do riding no it's not as easy as it looks. It took me about 6 months to perfect trot and now I've just started to work on my canter. It's not easy and also very expensive. I would recommend private lessons as you get much more out of them then in a group lesson

+CanterQueen 74 what's that??
@thehaxorusgirl91658 жыл бұрын
+~Evie Fox~ It's the "rein" that you can see on all horses attached from the saddle to the bit and its forcing the horses to keeps their heads in an uncomfortable position. It has no overall purpose than to cause discomfort to the horse

Trying to learn the way a horse canters (I don't see it irl often and the horse I ride often gets confused and tries to canter on me, and I'm still trying to get exercise on the walk and trot before I go into cantering, because I was stuck in bed for 4 years due to Lymes Disease, but finally managed to get it cured -or cured enough to the point I can act like a normal kid does- so I have to go through all the basics again until I'm strong enough to do all the normal stuff, such as posting and such.) I also was bucked off before and from my point of view it made me think the horse was getting a running start to kick me off like the horse i rode before, and it was not a cool feeling even tho I was able to stay calm and make the horse stop...:S
