Very famous , but this spot is one the badest I have ever tried . Wind super gusty . From 14 to 28 knots . For beginners absolut not to recommend . There is corralejo in the north , much better . But forget about sotavento . Cap verde , sal . That’s the place to go .

You dont know what youre talking about. Sotavento and its lagoons with good conditions its the BEST place to learn

Moroccan Sahara is beautiful. The US have recognised our southern territories. Dakhla is in OUR Moroccan Sahara (formerly known as Western Sahara). Long live Morocco 🇲🇦 🇲🇦 🇲🇦

Dakhla is so freakin overpriced and the locals try to ripp you off whenever they can!

Overpriced can be.... depending on what you'are comparing with and always had excellent experiences with the locals

@@kitepirinha Lets name it. below $200 a day is quite unrealistic. And that is without the flight / getting there!
@kitepirinha2 жыл бұрын
@@Nilz4FR if you avoid July and August you get it all for 1000 EUR/week flight included and even less if you choose for a club just behind the road that surrounds the north part of the laguna.

Depending on where you're coming from some companies offer a direct flight to Dakhla's airport, else you can travel with Royal Air Maroc

Should you have any question related to Fuerteventura- Sotavento or other kitesurf related topics, just shoot :) If by any chance you already went there, I'm eager to know about your personal experience. Have fun, kite hard, thanks for watching :)

Hey, we are going to Fuerta - Costa calma in a week, I would be grateful if you can answer my questions: - Do you have to pay something in advance for rescue service to get the pager? How much? - is it possible to practice without board as a beginner in the ocean when there is no lagune? How long would it be shallow water? - How much water showed the lagune plan from rene egli in this day where you say on your movie that it was 50cm? When this play shows 50cm, would it be possible to kite with a big twintip board at all? Best Regards
@kitepirinha2 жыл бұрын
@@DobreBiurode = regarding the rescue, depending on your level you may pay a fee for the week or pay 50eur each time you get rescued... we decided to go for the second option :) =practising in the ocean will depend on the tide and the wind , at low tide it might be shallow and you may find a place where you can have water to your depth up to 50m from the shore. but as it is off wind I would'nt go in the ocean as a beginner. =The laguna is full one week out of 2 depending on the moon position and you can kite with a twintip , if it is not too crowded it will be ok , it is just a way too gusty from time to time... enjoy your kite rtip

Hi there is it free to access the lagoon if you stay at the Melia or do you need transport to access it ? I e mailed Rene Egli and they said I had to pass a test with them to use it ?!? Sounds strange as I am already an independent kiter. I know they have their shuttle service but thought anybody can use the lagoon or do I need my own transport to get to it ? Thanks Francis
@kitepirinha Жыл бұрын
Hi @@rockydoctor , there is a shuttle from Media's hotel with limited schedules (morning, noon, afternoon) which means you have to stick to it. So if you are having a good time at the end of the day and want to stay you'll have to walk 20-30 min to get back to the hotel with your gear which is not an issue once but can be painful if it happens every day.
