The REAL reason why FORD pulled the plug on the Aerostar was they didn't want to spend the money to redesign the dash to include a front passenger airbag.

My wife dreamt of owning a Beetle, so I agreed to buy one if I could pick the trim level... our gray 2004 Turbo S was ridiculously fun, and I will forever cherish the couple years we had with ours. We ended up needing to upgrade to something bigger, so we traded it in for a MK6 GLI Autobahn, which my wife forced me to get with a DSG transmission. The GLI was a great sedan, but it lacked the spunky character of our beasty little Beetle!

I had a 1992 600 SEL. Have had Porsches, current Audi's, Bentleys, Jags, etc. To this day, it's the best car I have ever driven.

I worked in a Dodge collision shop back then. The Shadow convertible was a POS. The top was removed down in Mexico by an aftermarket hack shop. They literally saw zawed the top off! Under those wide plastic belt moldings was jagged rusty steel. They sent bolt in X reinforcements that are attached to the unibody rails because the body flexed and sagged so bad. They did it voluntarily, probably because they didn't want a mandatory recall. I wouldn't let my family ride in one! Retired collision repair/ refinish technician/teacher.

Only flaw was the rear, which they did fix in the redesign. But they made the front ugly after making the rear look elegant. Fortunately, in the full redesign everything was cohesive. I am impressed with how BMW design anticipated the trend towards larger proportioned cars to make them look more substantial.

I think there was a missed opportunity to throw that Oldsmobile Acheiva SCX in the first Fast and Furious movie. It had almost as much tech as a 'VTEC Yo' Honda of the era. Also couldve been made fun of before it smoked an import.

When you think of the type of demographic buyer for the BMW 850i, Tony Whitney is the perfect example. He looks exactly like the type of person who would own one of these magnificent masterpieces of the 1990’s.

❤❤❤ I love this program, but with all do respect. Honda, civic doesn't fit the category at all. It's a lot more expensive bigger and basically a different class vehicle

Early to mid 90s Infiniti’s were atrocious when it came to reliability. I was told to stay away from the early 90s q45s and these j30s Infiniti was so bad that even E.Honda destroyed one in a street fight. Es300 was the best choice because a 929 was awful too. I remember the 929 being pretty spacious compared to an ES or j30.
