This is amazing. I used Carbalose flour instead of regular all purpose (I'm diabetic), and it turned out just fine. Much easier than using the rolling pin and having the dough snap back and be too thick

Greetings from Bangalore, India. I just chanced upon this video...just yesterday I was making a syrup for chocolate cake. These things are rather new to me, so I had browse a bit trying to understand all about dessert syrups. This recipe looks so easy and interesting. We here don’t add syrups to coffee...perhaps I should try that. But can this syrup be otherwise used on desserts? To soak cakes? And how long can this be stored? Thank you for an easy and interesting recipe and a lovely video.

Thank you for your comment. I did not know you don't add syrups to coffee there. For the usage of this syrup, you can of course use it to soak cakes between the layers (my favorite too), over the pancakes, ice cream, or any other desserts as well. Thank you so much for your valuable compliment🤗

Hello there. I'm now gluten free so had to switch to gluten free flour. Tried this recipe nearly to the letter.... Added an egg.... Kept it a touch moister.... They turned out great. Tasted great. Thank you

I enjoy watching your videos and seeing your recipes and how easy it is to make good bread. I am a senior and I live in a small trailer. I don’t have an oven or a stove top. Basically I cook using a microwave and a crockpot. Do you have any recipes and methods for making easy bread in a crockpot?
