The creator of this video had to have spent considerable time coming up with other cultural references to add to the clips from Black Sails. "Did any of you order a furious posh man?" Is a great line from the hilarious British radio comedy, "Cabin Pressure," with Benedict Cumberbatch, Roger Allam, and others. And Tim Minchin singing, "You grew on me like a tumor...." is classic. You have to listen very carefully to catch all of the snippets. Great job!

Literally the only issue I had with the whole series was the last 2 episodes shoehorning in a "happy ending." The only mistake that could be noticed in the ENTIRE series. Why people dont recognize this show is baffling to me.

Hello, this brings me memories. I was a little boy age 11 living in poverty, when the casting crew went to portugal for this series looking for extras. I went and applied as I had nothing to loose and I needed the money. I was selected and became part of the “extras” crew, I saw myself 7 times in the series. But guess what? Not till the movie finished shooting in Portugal, I found out who the actor was. Now imagine my pride telling my family I was getting paid more for a day shooting than my dad did in the whole week. 😂 today, 20 plus years later, I’m no longer living in poverty. I’m a capital investor, and changed my family tree. I remember the boat they shot the scenes was an original British war boat were the kings lived inside. I had the chance to seat in the same chair where kings have sat. It was an amazing experience for a child that had nothing in life. I’m ever so thankful for that experience.

Man American Gods had such potential with every season of only they could have kept the same writers in place. In season 1 they show that some of the old gods who are destitute because they are not getting worshiped anymore to season 2 where they showed the many lives gods lives take Sweeny for example he was an ancient Irish god Lurgh who killed one eyed Balor leader of the Femorians (or he killed Odin when the Vikings invaded Ireland) then he became Mad Sweeny a pagan king who was driven mad by the invasion of the Catholic Church then they turned him into a Leprechaun and General Mills did the rest

Makes a good movie but historically it's completely incorrect. He was fat, old and fell asleep at court, snoring loudly. They were never a couple and Albert was the love of her life.

Great filming. But Sir Edward Pellew was twice the man in real life.He was an amazing frigate Captain and later Admiral. He would not ask his men to do anything he would not do himself. The calibre of Royal Navy senior officers is what has always made the RN the war machine it is.

A war machine in service of global slavery, mass murder, war, genocide, oppression, cultural theft & countless crimes against humanity...for centuries!!!...It's also the same calibre of Royal Navy senior officers that ruled over their (mostly drafted, so basically slave labor) crew with a merciless iron fist. There is a reason why we shouldn't glorify our savage past, no matter how "civilized" they thought they appeared. We should learn from these past mistakes and have the courage to improve ourselves and society so that we never return to this savagery.
