That seems pretty terrible. That's between 2.7 and 2.8 miles per kWh at 60mph in a small car. And with the 65 kWh usable battery it would return ~176-182 miles total range, which is poor. Am I reading that wrong? Were you driving it hard earlier? Is it the cold that's affecting range?

Hi, first of all, congratulations on your new car. I'm also interested in purchasing it, and I've visited the Volvo dealership twice. However, I have some concerns about the real-world range after reading online that it might not align with Volvo's official claims (475 km with SingleMotor and Extended Battery). Could you please share your experiences and averages regarding the actual range of your ex30? Thank you!

I'm also curious. I expected to get at least 300km out of it in winter climate, but 230km from 100% charge? Is this really the case?
@n0b0d1r Жыл бұрын
The car in this video is a test drive car and not a customer car. The test drive cars are on an update 1.1 which does not even include battery preheating yet. That should be included in update 1.2 which will also feature some other important changes that will affect the braking system and electricity consumption. No cars will be given to customers until the 1.2 update is out. Source: Volvo importer in Finland (where this video was also filmed). Also, I believe that the range shown on the screen is an estimate based on how the car has been driven recently, like how it is in cars in general. Since it is a test drive car, the acceleration has probably been tested and it has also otherwise been driven a bit uneconomically, which will also affect the range quite a bit - especially in winter conditions.
