I've recently been having a problem where I will set the same coordinate system for two drawings, then make sure the units are the same, but when I turn on the aerial, the actual red circle representing the origin of the coordinate system ends up on a different x,y point. The drawing then do not line up when xref'd into each other. Any idea what might be causing that?

I like this process. Only modification is that I use chspace to get the rectangles to model space without scaling.

Ive always used the VPCLIP command. It basically allows you to make your viewport any shape/size you'd like. Many ways to skin a cat in our field.

I believe Civil 3d does all of that when you create View Frames. However, for small projects I think this process is faster actually.

This was great! Thanks! Do you know how to set the sizes to be an actual print size? For example, I want the arrow heads to be a 1/8" on the page when it prints. I want the text height to be 1/8" tall on the paper when it prints. How can I do that? Thanks!
