Hi, Jenny, what a great initiative you took part in. Making art is a kind of therapy and I’m sure the lady with Alzheimer’s must have felt happy that day. The flowers are lovely. As always your colourful work is so beautiful. They’re easy to make and there are endless possibilities to use them. 💛🩵💙♥️🧡🩷💚💜❤️ (Just a side note, you had your camera in a vertical orientation and it was a bit difficult to properly see, even because sometimes you weren’t on frame and we couldn’t see you stitch…)

Hi Jenny, your bag is lovely, I love your choice of lining & the pocket is a great addition xx Just one query Jenny, do you ever suffer from hand pain or RSI, with all the stitching you do ??? I had weeks & weeks of horrid hand pain a few months ago,long story short, I ended up having a cortisone injection which took a couple of weeks to kick in ..... but now the damn pain is slowly coming back 😨😨😨 BUMMER !!!!!!!!!!!! 🇦🇺😎😍
@Sewbusydrawing24 күн бұрын
Hi Pauline thank you pleased how it turned out😀 just the odd twinge. Bless you I know it can be really pain full, would gentle hand movements help or a hand massage? hopefully it will ease for you soon 🥰

Hi Jenny, greetings from OZ 🇦🇺😎😍 Your boho purses are so lovely, I so enjoy making purses but haven't done boho style as yet,but will definitely be making some as I have all the goodies to do so 🤗 Coincidentally, last week I got a gorgeous, very full & flouncy long boho skirt that was in the dress-ups section in an op shop for $4 .... the colours in it are scrumptious, I'm stitching a section of it into a cushion cover, stitching over the patterns ... lots of fabric left for purses 😊😊😊 TFS XXXX

To get the ears filled you need a pencil to help push the poly fil up in them...or a chop stick...I have long tweezers and forceps because I make dolls..but all you need is a stick like to push to the tips....I think I might sew my fabrics on before I sew the 2 pieces together... and add my goodies on..maybe at the end after you sew together...then add the beads and eyes and extra stitches...at the end ..but you did a great job on them and I love the pink and especially the blue one came out great...with all the cute extras ..I like the simply pattern you used.
@Sewbusydrawing29 күн бұрын
Hi Linda thank you yes use what you have to hand to push the filling in. Yes you can make them in what ever way this is the way I always make mine. I chose to create an easy pattern as its versatile love to see yours when you have made it😀

I never made an owl, yours are so beautiful and cute, but when I do my scrappy dolls, I stitch first all the embellishments and then I stuff it. Don’t you find it difficult to stitch specially the face with the stuffing? ♥️🤎💙💛💚💜🩷🩵❤️🩶🧡🤍
