Yeah, it is also something that has some things for me to conquer as well, which is perfect as it gives me plenty of reasons to keep riding it 😁

The bike is awesome that is for sure. As for the size it will really come down to your preferred reach number. I am around 5’10/11 myself and the large is great for me and only really see a benefit for a medium if I was riding lots of really tight slow, technical climbs as that is the one spot the longer wheelbase bites me. For everything else it feels great.

Yep, came mighty close to that tree 😳 the jump itself is nothing really, just blind as you come into it round the corner more than anything.

Unfortunately no, like most trails my way they are 🏴‍☠️ and there are some locals who do not like riders.

Yeah that rock garden at the end is a real day ender if you are not careful. The other tracks are better, so wait for those to hit soon :)

Likely the same as the trails were not ridden during Covid and floods etc. going to be some track work days between now and the state round in July. Next chance to ride will be March most likely

Cheers mate! Yeah cleared it a couple of times but it is forgiving enough (obviously) that you can 50/50 it and ride it out. Just didn’t quite time it right

@@malmtb A few things, mainly looking to improve efficiency for trails that benefit from lots of pedaling and whilst it is rare for me to blow a foot off going down it still happens every now and then. Going to give it a red hot crack and see if I become a full time convert.

@@DMMTB I don’t reckon I would ever go full time and likely will flip flop depending on the trails

Yeah they are going to be a real test when you have to pedal back to the top during the race.... especially 3 & 4 🙃 Going to be fun regardless

Cheers Dave - yeah it was so much fun but I was a little tentative due to the lack of bike time.... but that just fills me with confidence knowing I can push further next time. Craig and I both left talking about getting back there for a social ride soon the trails were that good.
