Beautiful, but seems like a lot of tools and work for a DIY. It’s really nice though.

It's a labor of love for sure, and that's the non-monetary cost to affordable DIY's. Thanks for the love.

People have no idea how life changing this is. I have struggled with health issues, low energy among other things, and having meals ready to go is just so helpful. The peace of mind that dinner is handled for when I'm not at my best is great, and knowing exactly whats in it too is another load off my mind. No busting the budget bc you save so much buying fresher, healthier ingredients. Invest in good storage containers though! I learned that the hard way after messing a few up with freezer burn. I recommend this for families with working parents, kids in sports or afterschool activities or anyone with health issues. I even was making ahead for my Papa when he stopped being able to cook his specialties on his own. I'd freeze them for him so he could eat his favorite meals anytime. Whether its just weekly in the fridge or freezing large batch(family size) or single servings, its a lifesaver! <3

@@freshcupofjoy Anytime. Most of what I do is sharing little tips and tricks based on my experiences and doing this is something I wish I'd been doing forever. Like, if I knew I could spend one day just tearing it up in the kitchen so that I could be free with my time to do all the other things.. I would have gotten so much more accomplished! Especially wit kids in the house, forget about it. The customizable mini meals for one, or the grab and go healthy snacks for the kids instead of dropping everything to make it on the spot. Its a game changer for sure and I recommend everyone try doing this for a month and just tweak it to your own needs. Its so freeing! Stay at home parents can have their life back and working parents can have a hot meal at the ready any time!!

This is a lot of work. The cost of your own labor is huge and MUST be considered in the total cost. Its not $30. Way more than that
@YanickFM5 ай бұрын
I think she's just talking about the money part

Absolutely! The labor will take time and effort, but the monetary cost is under $30.

What did you buy to make your legs? Like what size of beam of wood?
@freshcupofjoy Жыл бұрын
It was a 2x2" piece of wood that we used because the cabinet was more for looks and wasn't going to carry anything too heavy, however if you want more function, we would recommend getting a more solid piece of wood like a beam or ready to go wooden legs!
