Here we are with Covid millions of people died and thousand could have been save because they didn’t want to take the shot. As a Gay man that has lost my dear partner of 5 years at the time he was only 32. We didn’t have the anything at all. The president of the USA Ronald Ragean didn’t even want to mention the work AIDS on his watch. The Gay plague we,called it…so Thank God Covid didn’t hit the Gay community like AIDS. I will always have a special place in my hart for the most courages and beautiful woman in the world Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson with always be with me till we meet again as I turned 60. @@indieshack4476 Greg and I met while doing some low-budget features in Hollywood in the 60s, I was camera and he was sound. He joined up with a partner and they produced a feature called "teaser" which I shot and edited for them. Greg would sometimes invite me to his house, he lived in Hollywood at the time, and while we relaxed and talked movies, like his father the director of films in Mexicon, his mother would make us the most delicious homemade tortillas. I borrowed a car from him when I decided to move to San Francisco, but we stayed in touch for a while. Then I lost contact information for him, as that was pre-cellphone and internet. Greg was a good man and a pleasure to work with.I've got the films I did with him on my IMDB page, like this one for teaser. www.imdb.com/title/tt0128712/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1.

Omg...it is really shocking to see her in this vegetative state. She didn't aged as gracefully like some other women do. A combination of pills, alcohol, smoking and no exercise took a heavy toll on her body and face. What a shame. But i guess living till until 79 is by itself a blessing.

@WildStrawberryFilms3 жыл бұрын
That is an extremely shallow comment. If your only standard of beauty is youthful good looks, then you should be ashamed of yourself. Her beauty radiates from the very heart of her loving soul. She contributed so much to make other people's lives better, people whose needs were way more difficult than you could imagine, or apparently, care about. . You should live to have the same said of you, but with your nasty attitude I wouldn't hold my breath.

@@RitaMalikfour I am minding my business. It speaks volumes that you are not ashamed. You started with comparing her to Jaba the Hut. You made zero mention of the difficulty she endured to speak on behalf of AMFAR, which she devoted all the latter years of her life to give aid to it. I will mind my business by telling you that that is disgusting and if you had an ounce of any of the humanity exemplified by this great woman, you would indeed be ashamed of yourself.

Her smile has never lost its beauty. There was little to admire about her marriages. She nearly destroyed herself with booze. Such things make her all the more marvelous for giving so much of herself in the later years. Not everyone who loses so much or so often can rise up to be champion.

@@CountrySing That totally mischaracterizes the situation. She worked tirelessly with Dr. Mathilde Krim for AMFAR. She is the "they" you say exploited her. She was determined to make the fund raiser a success. She was not forced, but rather she over rode everyone's objections. You don't realize how powerful she was even in that moment of frailty.
