If you’re in the forest when nature calls You might feel a ghostly hand on your balls A specter stalks the woods without a soul He’ll meet you at the old bridge glory hole And if you’re out looking to get some The Headless Horseman will make you come And if you let him explore every hole He’ll be in wrist deep to grab your soul Oh the ghost and goblins and the living dead All know the horseman’s giving head Ichabod Crane that old scarecrow Is there every night for a quick free blow You might meet the headless hessian on a Friday night By Saturday morn no hole is tight But if you got a few dollars just flash that bread And he might give you some pumpkinhead And if you’re a bad one full of sin His old black horse just might join in

A film that everyone under 44 should watch but probably would not understand. Greatest kiss on screen ever. Great film. Mary Stuart Masterson one of the greatest underplayed sex symbols of all time. Elias Koteas's performance was also brilliant. Stephen Duffy's song - genius.

I had the privilege of meeting Thurl Ravenscroft back in 1985. He was good friends with my boss, the owner of Fieldtec, a cleanroom design-build company. He narrated our promotional video (which we had to play on then state-of-the-art (a Muntz video tape player with an 8" screen. Imagine Thurl's voice saying "Fieldtec Incorporated- for better quality of life."

If anyone reading this is unfamiliar with Danny Hutton's other work just get acquainted with 3 Dog Night Night. Also, check out *ROSES AND RAINBOWS - DANNY HUTTON (1965) **#Pangaea**'s People* video on here. Again, if you're unfamiliar (or even if you are) how he got here is quite the journey... *1960's Pop-rocker on Hanna-Barbera music label-> 1970's bearded bluesy soft rock mainstay->1980's Punk rock band manager and this* 🤯👏

It's a great song no matter who sings it. But, I'll listen the og Nik Kershaw all day, every day. Just do yourself a huge favor and listen to his '80's classical version from 2019. He sounds amazing. Time has been very kind to him.

This is tough to listen to.....My parents used to play this man as we were growing up........ They and one of my brothers moved to heaven just two months ago, all within one month. Watching them suffer was not fun at all : ( Now I am still going through ALL THE THINGS they saved of us, their 16 children, Wow! They really loved us!!!!! Please honor your parents!!! They are not perfect......some are close to that I am sure. I could say so much more.....but we all can then. Try to Forgive one another..........

Lyrics A man is walking alone A woman cries at home They could be anyone Without each other, how Could they live through all the lies? Intentions don't provide So cling to those who you love The only answer Stay close and live as one Through rain and darkened skies You have the love you need For all tomorrow's lies They tell you try to have hope And fight for all you can These words, you've heard them before So easy to believe A man is walking alone A woman cries at home They could be anyone The only answer

Just found out about this song from watching Live Aid concert videos. I was at Live Aid in Philly, going through loops & found this from the London portion being performed by Nik Kershaw. I then looked him up, lived the 80's but don't remember him. Then looked up Danny based on Wiki page. This version is 80's Ballard worthy for sure! Both are 80's classic worthy even if they are new to me.

If you heard the actual writer and singer, Nik Kershaw do it live, HOW do you care for this version? I don’t understand why there’s a cover used in Pretty in Pink that was released just 2 years later. I’m sorry, but this cover suckd

Lyrics: To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn't have too much to say No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip For the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip It was early in the morning when he rode into the town He came riding from the south side slowly lookin' all around He's an outlaw loose and running, came the whisper from each lip And he's here to do some business with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip In this town there lived an outlaw by the name of Texas Red Many men had tried to take him and that many men were dead He was vicious and a killer though a youth of 24 And the notches on his pistol numbered one and 19 more One and 19 more Now the stranger started talking, made it plain to folks around Was an Arizona ranger, wouldn't be too long in town He came here to take an outlaw back alive or maybe dead And he said it didn't matter he was after Texas Red After Texas Red Wasn't long before the story was relayed to Texas Red But the outlaw didn't worry men that tried before were dead 20 men had tried to take him, 20 men had made a slip 21 would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip The morning passed so quickly, it was time for them to meet It was 20 past 11 when they walked out in the street Folks were watching from the windows, everybody held their breath They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death About to meet his death There was 40 feet between them when they stopped to make their play And the swiftness of the ranger is still talked about today Texas Red had not cleared leather 'fore a bullet fairly ripped And the ranger's aim was deadly with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip It was over in a moment and the folks had gathered round There before them lay the body of the outlaw on the ground Oh, he might have went on living but he made one fatal slip When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip Big iron, big iron When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip Hope this helped :)

I listened to this for the first time right when i was studying Romeo and Juliet in high school. One of the passages I had to memorize and recite was the balcony scene. I started with "Hark. What light through younder win.." and I almost said winder shines. I started laughing and my teacher was probably convinced I was crazy. It took me about a minute to compose myself and then i was able to say it with Shakespeare's words instead of the much better Griffith translation.
