Funny, you mention to that, out here again and tried last night, but the full moon, and the dew settling on the camera lens, and then a dead battery stuck in the camera made for another no go. Haha!

Very much enjoying your videos. I have a newer 4runner that I would like to keep relatively pinstripe free so I get it. I had a wedding to attend in Branson last weekend, so we took the long way down through Glade Top Trail. Just stuck to the main road since we were on a bit of a schedule, but look forward to going down and checking it out more.
@g2tАй бұрын
Awesome! I’m heading down again this weekend, there are so many trails off the main one to keep you busy for days. Hope to keep the pinstripes to a minimum…

So sorry. There's always an a-hole in the campground. Why we prefer to disperse camp. But nice spot I can see why you camp there
@ImABeliever75Ай бұрын
wow....that was an unbelievable amount of bullsh*t you had to put up with on that trip...you did good with your tolerance of it. This is why I hate making camping reservations, but most places in MO require it.....rude, inconsiderate and noisy people can quickly ruin a trip. Camping etiquette barely exists anymore! But still a beautiful spot.
@g2tАй бұрын
Comes with the territory... There's always more awesome people camping than the problem causers. Get deep into dispersed areas and then you'll have no people issues!

The dogs look unconcerned lol this reminds me of me, my husband, teenage stepson, and 100lb Labrador making the 1000 mile drive from texas to indiana every summer 😂 once we almost ran out of gas at 4am everyone was asleep and i got into a groove looked down and we were on E and in the middle of nowhere. We made it but were coasting on fumes 😅 oh the family memories.

Those are not camping spots. It's private property. The people that own those have been there for many years. If you want to camp on Big Sugar, there are some campgrounds. Do not camp on private property, without permission from the owner.

1000%, sad that I even have to say it, but the hidden gem is Huckleberry Ridge conservation area where dispersed camping is allowed. I guess I’ll say it if I have to for those who don’t get it, but do not camp on private property risk the consequences….
@dakotaallen40622 ай бұрын
@@g2t I own property on Big Sugar. We get a lot of trespassers. Because it's wild and undeveloped, a lot of people coming through just do whatever they want. They either don't realize its private property, or they don't care. I get people that show up on my game cameras constantly.

Follow up comment: I now own the same RTT and have used it a few times since late last year. That front hoop is supper annoying to lock in for me. Have you found a trick? Or has it just gotten easier for you over time? I love the tent otherwise. I find the mattress is comfortable enough but have also picked up the FSR air mattress to compare.

Pushing up the supports is now very easy as I leave the side door and screen unzipped. We literally discovered this a couple weeks ago on our last trip! Try that and let me know.

@@g2t That's the key!! I just went out and opened it up. It definitely was easier. The first side went up no problem but I still had to use my foot to push up the other side. Hey. It went up first try so, that is a huge improvement! 🙏🏽
