Wht happens when tassels get washed? Can they dry with the scarf when scarf is washed and blocked
@RebekahHaasCrochet8 ай бұрын
I washed and blocked before adding tassels. If it needs to be washed again, I would hand wash, being very careful of the tassels and let it air dry.

Thank you for this video. I found yarn in my stash where I did not like the colors so much. What was I thinking when I bought it? With this pattern the shawl turned out so beautiful even with the not so great colors I really like it. I have a question: which border would you recommand for the long side of the triangle? Thank you so much
@Manuela-n9l8 ай бұрын
I finally have finished the shawl, I figured out a nice border solution

While I was eventually able to enjoy the end result, I really REALLY wish you provided stitch and row counts, as text over appropriate video images. The way you explain the stitches, even watching very carefully, is confusing. I'm not a decades seasoned crocheter. I need to know how many stitches, etc.
@RebekahHaasCrochet11 ай бұрын
I see your point. This wasn't really intended to be an exact pattern as much as a technique tutorial. I found the technique a little confusing to pick up as well, so I'll definitely look into finding a better way to explain it.

How wide is this shawl across the top? Thanks
@RebekahHaasCrochet Жыл бұрын
I made it to measure fingertip to fingertip. It all comes down to how many rows you make. You can add or decrease the number of rows to get the size you prefer.

You inspired me for my first V-Shawl in my crochet life of 50 years! Very nice pattern! I am doing it with a cotton/polyester/wool mix that gives a very fluffy and natural outcome. Thank you so much ❤

I don’t know if it is just me; but I cannot find the free written pattern. I searched in the description box below the tutorial but only the paid pattern appears there. I am trying to find out how many repeats we do of Row 2 and 3 before the final row. Can you please assist me? I adore this pattern. It is very lovely. Thank you for sharing it with us. ❤️

Gorgeous, what yarn, and pattern?
@RebekahHaasCrochet Жыл бұрын
I used lion brand mandala for the colors - I don't have the label, so I don't recall the exact one. I color controlled through most of the blanket. The white was unlabeled stash yarn. Pattern: www.hookedonhomemadehappiness.com/mandala-blanket-crochet-along/

@RebekahHaasCrochet2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I don't know. We don't have a Joanne's nearby and our Michael's is really small and has low stock all the time, so I don't really shop there much. But maybe?

This is beautiful1 I have a canvas pouch and want to make this, but do you have a written pattern, so I don't have to keep pausing the video to make it? If not, I saved the link. Thank you, I love it and it will make a perfect gift for my friend who is so hard to make or buy for.
@RebekahHaasCrochet2 жыл бұрын
I plan to write it out, I just haven't had time yet. Honestly, if you start with the counts in the video, you can reference my Ginter Crossbody pattern. The only difference is the starting chain count and I used 3 dc shells in this instead of 5 dc shells. Other than that, all the other details are the same.

I would have liked to see more shots of the whole piece of work as it progressed because mine looked a very strange shape and I had nothing to compare it to except closeups of hands and stitches. I didn't finish the project. Unraveled it and made a different pattern!

These are really cute! I'm impressed that you made so many so quickly. I'm intrigued by the glue also - I would never have thought to glue a crocheted pouch down.
@RebekahHaasCrochet2 жыл бұрын
It really comes down to using the right glue and using it on the right project. Since bags need a certain level of rigidity, using the proper glue (NOT HOT GLUE) works perfectly for someone who doesn't sew well. It also saves a lot of time.

Very pretty!

May I suggest that you put the glue at the bottom, then pull the granny squares over the pouch. Once they are in place, put the glue at the top. Cleaner and easier. Love the pouch! I would not have thought of this idea! ❤️
