I had a loss of power cause my cats were blocked up , the upstream o2 sensor i took out and realized thats why i couldnt rev past 4krpm

Sweet and simple video I appreciate. Just got a 96 4.6 and it’s super clean had a check engine light come on but had no signs of issues ran obd scanner and that bank 2 02 sensor code was going off

So I’m kinda new to the whole stereo and amp and sub stuff. I have a little 10 in the back seat but one day when I was driving to work. I was listening to my music like usual. I go to work do my daily, get off my shift and hopped in the car and all the sudden I turn on my car and the stereo won’t turn on. I’ve took it out and saw the wires are all plugged in and everything looks fine. But still no power… any suggestions or anything at all you can help me with?

What was your solution? Just bought a 98 mustang 3.8L. Needs the downstream o2 sensor replaced. I have the tools and parts.

just put a stereo in my 96 Mustang GT no sound couldn't figure it out it was the damn blue wire ....

I am going to just cut the black wire and run the two ends to a switch mounted just there on the plastic somewhere so I can just switch it off when I am working on the car and want the door open with the keys in the ignition but have it on so it works as normal. Why didn't Ford just give us an option on this.

Also u need a shield for your cold intake filter. The heat from the engine is going directly into it making it a hot intake lol
