Chris could you elaborate more on partnership to build parts for budget OG 70 mustang parts? I might be interested to invest in something like that let me know more it, thanks

I'm from Vancouver too, I met Chris via email through his web page when he just finished building his 70 and had just started his gt40. I asked him how to make flares and the process how to get a car titled I was looking for a project from the states to import to Vancouver but most of the cars I liked had no title because they were race cars. The process to obtain a title is long and difficult and must be done from the US side. Someone should start a business on titling cars, I would pay for that service.

I bought a 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports for 58k. I'm very happy with it so far but I am constantly worried about something breaking. I was thinking about customizing the crap out of it and keeping it forever.

@winstoncampbell9547Күн бұрын
When are you going to drive them or it if anything 🤔 is there a driver on your team as your a goed story teller but can any of these vehicles walk the walk i wonder 🤔 as theres other fabricators out there that do test yheir vehicle's after completion of the build.
@winstoncampbell9547Күн бұрын

On the subject of hemp, not only do they make front and rear spoilers from hemp on the Porsche GT4 Cup car. They make the quarter panels of the same hemp material. They also make some of the internal car linings with it.

Great conversation and good reco on the Bambus. Custom work is so accessible with a decent laptop, a sub $1k printer and some scan data or a $1K einstar + youtube university and knowledge shared by guys like Tim and Ash. Doesn't have to be full builds made out of carbon either, I printed my lip/skirts and some other stuff in PETG/ASA and been running it on my type R for 4+ years and it's 90% as durable as an OE injection molded part.

Around 57:00 the discussion of the exhaust, he mentions wanting to do "sandcast" tubing. I've heard him reference that before as a historic tech. Is that a reference to bending thin wall tubing by stuffing it with sand, or actually molten cast metal?

I am dying to hear Tim and Rob chime in on RWB Nakai-San using panel bond to attach a tow-hook...🤣 Man, hearing TJ talk about that kit just reinforces Tim's previous thoughts on cheap kits and the hidden costs that come with them

i feel like nothing is original anymore. it’s just a remix shit show of designs that icons of history created. everything is just michael bay transformers now.

It’s much much better than the HWA. It looks off for some reason, I’m confident yours will blow this away! Regular wheels please ok thanks byeeee

We don’t need aero wheels though, it’s supposed to be rad not breaking records guys. Let’s be aesthetically pleasing for once.

I would say the aerodisc / turbofan thing is a matter of aesthetics. I somewhat agree as it's kinda played out by now

15:50 I actually think you COULD fit an LS under that hood. Ever seen the hood vent & packaging on a C6.R racecar? And that's with a massive carbon intake. But a dry sump n/a LS is about the same size as any dohc v6. Mounted far back & low enough they can fit anywhere. There's even ls swapped Porsche 911's😅

Ive been a life long car nut & grew up designing & sketching cars since 2nd grade. Always created my own fresh designs (never thought about sketching or redesigning existing models). But health issues/chronic pain ended my plans for car design and/or engineering school in Detroit. Still bothers me to this day (in my mid 20's), but I knew I had a lot of natural talent & vision (with engineering solutions/inventions also).. like Carbo-tanium, electronically tinted windows, electrically spooled turbos, magnetic suspension, compound turbos.. Which all ended up being officially invented & used afterwards by Pagani, Mclaren, Lambo, Porsche & Ferrari. (Hadnt known about mag ride & group B rally compound turbo's at the time). But I still dream & obsess about this stuff every day. About sports/supercars, car designs, aero, engineering, my own car company etc. So this video was cool to see. Inspires me to find a way to get involved with cars/racing if I can find a way manage the health stuff

I had one coworker in hundreds maybe thousands, we worked so well in unison it was uncanny. Broke records and set new standards together, yet seemed as though we were at odds all the time from the outside due to the way we pushed each other to succeed. Super dope way to work, rare as a free thing, almost never see it some may never.

The man is correct, especially other the talks of pricing, ppl look at the car itself and don’t add up the labor intensive work to make it what it is. Nobody wants to see value in your work. I agree if you don’t wanna pay then build it yourself
