Why my wife is not allowed to go to the pound or any pet shop without me. I have literally had to sit in the car with her for upwards of 30 minutes, waiting to see if a dog she saw (in its own front yard) is lost/abandoned...the owner comes out and gives us a dirty look as they collect their dog...I give and apologetic shrug and finally am allowed to drive off to the store....this happened right by our house, with a dog both of us have already seen in our neighborhood several times....she was saying, "are you sure that is the same dog? He looks sad." He was a basset hound, they always look sad. She was totally going to take it home and kick my ass if I try to stop her.

I got an idea.. Make em a blanket out of celery, carrots, onions, put em in an warm place and keep the door closed, turn up the temp to ohhhh,... preferably 350ish for about 3.5 to 4 hours.
