The looks are subjective and it really just doesn’t look that good compared to options from the more established brands but I had a T300RS before. It wasn’t bad but the C5 is far superior from the perspective of Force Feedback strength and detail. But that also goes for anything Direct Drive.

You are getting so much better so fast my friend! Keep pushing! Just remember to push the limits and find where the absolute limit of grip is so you can get that feel down wheee you are right on the edge at all times. It will make you faster. Its ok to lose grip a little and catch ir. Biggest trick for speed is exactly that push the limits find where its at get used to driving on ut. You will get to the point where you can just think about pushing it and you will start gaining time. Its very cool to experience. Now longer races you def need to be careful at first and want your tires to last so you kind of just do it when you can. Instead of the entire race lol.

jeez that crash at 9:02 was horrendus, I've had the happen to me so many times ingame. Is that also a Cammus? How are you liking it and any pros and cons? Cheers
@SimRacingNewbie8 ай бұрын
Yep lol, those crashes are no fun. It is a Cammus C5, I love it but that’s coming from a Thrustmaster T300. It’s pretty good for an entry level wheel but if you spend a little more you can get a Moza or Fanatec entry level wheel after you consider shipping. Some reviewers have talked about the refinement of the feedback and how it feels generally but I just don’t have any experience with anything better to get an understanding of how much better it could be. Check out Boosted Media’s review of the C5 and the C12 ;)

It's your braking brotha! Just practice the braking alot. Do you have a loadcell? If not invest in one. Brake later with trail braking to help turn in.. Whats funny is the hardest part of the track was where you did best which kind of blew my mind.
@SimRacingNewbie8 ай бұрын
Haha thanks man, yep I can tell I am braking way too early and inconsistently. I have the Fanatec CSL Loadcell Pedals but it’s so stiff it’s hard to be consistent. I’m looking into mods to improve it
@reviewforthetube64858 ай бұрын
@SimRacingNewbie ok so what you do is fo what I do. I'm not a big guy, go into your settings and change the brake force. So you can reduce it and make it so the loadcell pressure can be much more sensitive which will allow you to press it much lighter. Ive found for me it's helped me alot. I can't use it at 100% eveb with my elite v2 pedals. I use it at like 20% and find that perfect. It goes to 100% braking much easier with the loadcell sensor. There are settings for the brake force needed at least with fanatec there is. Kind of why I love there wheel settings onbthe fly. I can change it on the wheel itself and adjust and test to my liking.

@@SimRacingNewbie It's too reactive to your inputs. I don't know what your driving style is but from what im observing your car turns more than you want it. This in turn makes laps inconsistent. I stumbled across your video. And i want to point out some things for reference. Just to help you be faster on this track. These are solely my own opinions based on my experience on the track. You need car momentum in this track. So here we go. 1:36 Bring you Brake Balance more on the rear and brake later. Use 2nd gear on all the corners 1:52 2nd gear on the next corner followed by 3rd 1:58 2:09 Stay outside while braking. Dive in later 2:25 1st gear. 2nd gear mid corner 2:38 5th gear floored 2:44 Brake balance more on front brake later. Go on 3rd while diving for the next corner 2:56 No brakes. A quick of throttle will make the front dive in the corner. Use 3rd 3:04 Try to use 3rd Hopefully those can help you.
