It is calling for attention in a too strong way - it is the opposite as downtoned! The example on 7.38, which has a green V as ok, is in my view really not a fine choice. Mixed patterns in this way is too busy!

Hi, the problem we experience with stylists is that they can't possibly stretch across the different geographical areas of the world. US fashion tips don't necessarily work with European style, equally they (both mentioned) don't work with Chinese or Japanese trending styles. We all have our personal style and enjoy or deplore what trends come out of various Fashion Houses, that get diluted down to fashion outlets around the world. We all are aware of over buying and waste that Fashion is a main contractor to. With respect, if I wish to wear the wrong shape of this or that in 2025, I will, my choice and if you update the 'current' trend in colour, that's enough for me. Thanks.

After retirement (09) I only wear pants, while skirts and dresses got donated. I don't wear leggings, they are for perfect looking legs. Women over a certain age wearing them are trying to look younger, some are overweight.

Wearing a soft, mid-size red-and-gray paisley button-up shirt today. It is a centuries-old pattern (maybe even older) so timeless pattern in my opinion. But you do need to be sure the colors are soft and not too big/bold a print.

Even though I can understand your point about colour combination and understated accessories, I do not agree that big statement accessories, fun and colourful fashion is not appropriate for a women over 50. Actually its the best time to a mature women demonstrate personality and unique style. Just need be confident about herself!

If the way a woman over 50 she dress makes her smile, happy and comfortable, nothing wrong with it. It is their unique personality. But, if anyone wants to always look the way you stated as a high-class woman, your tip is helpful. It doesn't make other styles lower-class, though.
