Quick correction: Luz isn't biracial (at least not in the traditional sense) afro Latina refers mostly to black people from Latin America. Her parents are from the Dominican republic, which has a notable black minority (around 8 percent as of 2022 (the US is around 12 percent, I bring this up as a lot of people assume luz's dad is African American)). That being said, the overwhelming majority of Dominicans are tri-racial

Luz's original outfit is fine. It's clear that she is a tomboy. Her Azura costume is the only one with a pure feminine design. I love all of her outfits throughout the series, as she looks adorable in them. My favorites are the pirate look, her S2 pajama with a hint of Totoro design, and of course her Titan Witch form. Fun Fact: My cousin, Alonso Rameriz Ramos, who worked on storyboarding for "Gravity Falls," designed Luz's leggings and shorts for her main outfit.

This was a really fun video to watch, I like your redisigns, I would like to nitpick something you said real quick though. You meantioned her caring a lot about her appearance in season 1 and not knowing why she would let her roots grow out as much as they did but personally I see this more as Odalia's oversight. Amity never wanted her hair dyed in the first place, it was always forced on her and she has said as much, so her roots being allowed to grow that much probably wasn't her slacking on a part of her appearance, it was probably Amity grasping on to that one bit of freedom due to Odalia not realizing how much her hair had grown out

I can totally relate to your thoughts!! A few years ago when I was about 13 it was kinda hard for me to find any cool show aimed specifically at teens. I discovered a lot of cool cartoons, some of the mentioned ones included, but I think it'd still be cool if you had more shows that allow characters to actually swear a bit but don't go total apeshit and hardcore like adult shows. This has been kind of a rant here 🤭 Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not that much into real life shows) but especially there I think like there are usually just 6+ shows and the next best prominent thing are 16+ shows.
