Lol @ all of the Nike fanboys. It's all about your personal preference in cleats and equipment and how YOU personally like the way it feels. I wore Nike but there's no need to bash other brands. Adidas and UA imo are just as good of brands when it comes to cleats and gloves.

Every good o lineman holds and doesn't get caught. Every good interior defensive lineman leads with their head, and doesn't get caught. Would not be suprised

Lol at anyone that buy under armor if you're dline or online. They just gonna fall apart on you. Nike superbad pros are the way to go. Also under armors are like hell to take off. Some say it's a a good thing but after 2-3 hours and you are drained taking off cleats that is a massive struggle shouldnt be something you should deal with.

Go for the underarmour spinecrawlers. They are for players that want ankle support but not a tape job. They don't look to bad neither.
@thatsangel11 жыл бұрын
It's all about how you feel comfortable playing. Some big men like the ankle support. Others prefer feeling more mobile for less resistance when they pivot and change directions. Higher cuts can feel restrictive. Leverage is entirely in the quality of the cleat and sole -- depending on the playing surface.

Damn right. Let the wides and backs do their celebrations in the end zone, but don't let them forget who got them there.

If you're actually a talented linemen, you should be talking to american colleges. Contact your head coach about it. They will have someone look at you.

Use whatever works for you, Denard Robinson, former QB at Michigan never tied his shoelaces which actually developed more muscle in his arch of his foot which some believe contributed to his quickness because he is naturally on his toes... Basically my point is that was what he was comfortable in and no matter what people told him he felt best like that, so tear a page from his book and wear whatever you believe you are the most effective in.

So I know this has nothing to do with the vid(well it kind of does) but at the end they were showing shots of some of the cleats players had on. I'm a 240 lb 6'4" offensive and defensive tackle and I am fairly quick for those positions. Also my frame is somewhat thin compared to the other linemen in my league. For my body type, would it be ok for me to use low top cleats except for your traditional high tops?
