If you like real cider the Stumble Inn is best.

As well as beer The Brunswick is also great for real cider. Always at least a dozen on, and not the same ones, so it's a cider tickers paradise, probably the best varied choice of cider within 50 miles of Birmingham.

Great pub. Went here with my Dad to see his brother Maurice Kelly in 1969, I was only 16. I learned to drink Carlsberg Special Brew there 3/6d a bottle.

@@drinktalk It was thank you. Maurice was a well known character in Pocklington. He died aged 98 in 2003. Other regulars at the time would have been Jack Flaherty and George Tinsel, two more well know locals. I am 71 now and The Feathers will always be a very special pub in my life.

Was born in Bev , but grew up from a baby in Hull. Left four decades back, but that time till i was 21, were the happiest days of my life i reckon. Hull has changed too much since...didn't recognise half of it when i went back five years ago.
