Government way worse then the mafia, who would have thought FBI are more currupt. The more you know about government the more you know the government just wanted that power

The bosses of cities like Milwaukee, new Orleans, Detroit, Boston etc rarely are spoke about compared to NYC, philly and Chicago and I find those families way more interesting!

Maggadino was just a puppet to his cousin Bonnano. He was butt hurt when Bonnano had Carmine Gallante move into Montreal and take over the Heroin coming into North America. Eventually Gallante was legally forced out of Canada, but Bonnano did relinquish his hold on the Montreal Connection. When the 3 capos Alphonse "Sonny Red" Indelicato Philip "Philly Lucky" Giaccone Dominick Trinchera got whacked Rizzuto from Montreal was part of that hit, which later secured his family as the leaders in the Montreal area. The three capos were lured to a meeting at the 20/20 Night Club in Brooklyn on May 5, 1981, and assassinated in the club's store room. The murders were carried out by Joseph Massino, Salvatore Vitale, and other gunmen, including Vito Rizzuto. The murders were intended to end a rebellion against Bonanno boss Philip Rastelli. The murders were depicted in the movie Donnie Brasco, which featured an undercover FBI agent named Joseph Pistone (Donnie Brasco). Pistone's work led to over 200 indictments and 100 convictions of Mafia members.

Later on Stefano did become an mad autocrat but he was not a puppet to Joe B I can assure you of that in the late seventies and eighties. You are right but by then times were changing and men like Stefano were on the decline since the sixties..

Magaddino a puppet to Joey B , is the most ignorant thing I’ve heard in a long time.

@derekguagliano5572 Yeah I know. I had to correct him on that...

I believe Ohio was the real capital of organized crime. A lot of old school Hollywood titans came from there too.

No boss ot bosses since the Commission was created by Luciano in 1931. He may have been the most powerful and influential at one point. In New York yes, but the Outfit were hugely more powerful.
@HistoryAndOrganisedCrime19195 күн бұрын
When i say Boss of Bosses i Mean he pretty much ruled over New York no where else. Gambino had Lucchese, Colombo, Buffalo, Philly as well as parts of the Genovese Family..

They won’t let yall make it about that AI voice lol I’ve heard worse though. My family makes fun of me for my obsession w the mafia (I’m a small town girl never left the south) but it’s so fascinating. Italians are fascinating ppl although I do know the mafia is not their whole culture it’s one aspect that will hold interest until the end of time.
