I have constantly adjusted things since they realized it was too late back around 2010. We were supposed to be down to 29 gigatons in 2020 and we are at 41 gigatons. That's enough to increase the climate temperature by 1° C every 25 years. 2 ° C is already baked in by 2026. There will be sufficient carbon in the atmosphere by that time that 2C is unavoidable. By 2049 there will be sufficient carbon in the atmosphere at 3C is unavailable. When I say it is unavoidable, think about you put a pot of water on to the stove and turn a medium heat on underneath it. The water will unavoidably boil. There will be enough carbon in the atmosphere that we will reach to see next year in 2026. And this isn't even considering the fact that we now have enough methane in the atmosphere that is no longer detecting as quickly and so instead of having 20 times the impact of CO2 it's up to something like 25 or 27 times the impact of co2. The rain will move off of The arrow farm areas. In many areas it's already drifted about 50 MI northward if we are at historically fell. Even if we were to go to zero gigatons of carbon tomorrow. +1.9 degrees Celsius is baked in now. Instead of trying to reboot the birth rate, we need to let the birth rate continue to fall and get the population down to under 4 billion. That's our best hope for fixing it and having enough habitable area for the people who are around at the time. We already lose thousands of square kilometers of human habitable land every year. What's the wet-bulb temperature is above 95 degrees fahrenheit, humans can't live there anymore without continuous life support.

Sometime around 4 years ago I could see the math. We had missed any opportunity to limit 1.5C before 2027. And that math proved accurately only in the result as we are in 2024 and have likely blown passed 1.5C already. We are almost certainly going to pass 2C in the next 5-6 years a we heat up about .1C yearly and this will happen sometime around 2030/31. We have already baked this in and the current emissions are still increasing. Most experts expect 3C by 2070 and that math is already silly. We didn't stop it at 1.5, we aren't going to stop it at 2, so why do they think we can sto[p it at 3C? 450PPM is a certainty. If we arte really scared, act with certain panic and somehow stop what we are doing in revolutionary levels of change we might stop it blowing past 500ppm. At 1.5C we have created catastrophic cyclones, seasonal storms that no longer stop in season: fires, droughts and thawing that feed the cycle in positive feedback. At 2C we will lose hope of control most planetary cycles/systems. At 3C we doom most of the planet to unlivable conditions. It's likely we have already caused the necessity for mass (1.2B) migrations and death in the hundreds of millions as certain regions are too hot for food production. Even temperate areas are not meeting nutritional goals as hotter temps reduce quality. And here this video talks about tech, levelling and new systems. Forget it. Most of Australia will not be livable by 2050.

Al Gore's successful war on science and scientists maybe coming to an end. This video has the United Nation’s Climate Change disclaimer. The cause of global warming is not know in 2024. Global warming was officially reported at 1.1°C in 1991 and 1.06°C in 2022. There has been no climate change due to global warming. Global warming at 1.5°C was predicted to cause climate change with stronger observable hurricanes in the Gulf-of-Mexico. It is scientifically impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. Before Al Gore became US vise president in 1992 earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect was taught in US public education. All the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth is completely absorbed in earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect by greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the radiating surface adding 5.55°C (10°F) to earth’s average temperature. Its further heat transfer is by convection i.e. gas molecules bumping into to each other. The back of the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) science report states it took its greenhouse gas samples at 20,000 meters altitude where it is common high school level knowledge there is no greenhouse radiant energy. This is typical practice for deceptive marketing to state legal data transparency protecting the perpetrators from fraud prosecution. The IPCC has been transparent with its data acknowledging it is not dealing with active greenhouse gases. Earth's greenhouse effect is frequently used as a primary example to high school students of a system always in saturation from the strong greenhouse gas water vapor absorbing all the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth with greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the radiating surface that is all around us everyday and can't have its overall effect changed. There is no further greenhouse radiant energy to interact with greenhouse gases. At 1% average tropospheric water vapor over 99% of earth’s greenhouse effect is from water vapor. Water vapor would hold earth's greenhouse effect in saturation if it were the only greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. The overall average temperature gain to the earth from the earth’s greenhouse effect is 5.55°C (10°F). 0.4% of the atmosphere is CO2 and on average 1% is H20 water vapor. (1% H20)/(0.4% CO2) = 25. Water vapor is 25 times more present in the atmosphere on average than CO2. Water vapor has an CO2e of 18, 18 X 25 = 450 CO2e total for water vapor to 1 CO2e for CO2. Arctic warming is taking place with the proving mechanism being warm Atlantic Ocean waters migrating deeper and more frequently into the Arctic Ocean warming it and the region. The warmer Arctic Ocean water is causing a few weeks less of reflective snow and ice surface cover resulting in more solar heat gain to the Arctic region surface. Atmospheric CO2 levels of 1200 ppm about three times what they are today would greatly invigorate C3 plants the majority of plant life on earth greatly greening the planet. C3 plants evolved over 100 million years ago when atmospheric CO2 levels were ten times those of today determined by plant fossils. The Earth’s oceans have 3-1/2 million sea floor volcanic vents warming the water and changing it’s chemistry that have not been systematically accounted for. There has been no credible Climate Change due to global warming as of 2024. Climate Change was expected to start to take place when global warming reached 1.5°C causing observable stronger hurricanes in the Gulf-of-Mexico. The term Climate Change started being used at the beginning of the 1980s to cause alert to a broad audience of the long term effects of increasing average global temperatures. The promotional term Climate Change in the early 1980s was grounded on actions already taken by Gulf-of-Mexico offshore crude oil drilling companies in the 1970s to build for stronger hurricanes due to warmer Gulf waters predicted to start when average global temperatures increased 1.5°C on track for 2010. That action was taken for a predicted long term change in weather patterns or climate that backed up the use of the term Climate Change.

The answer is easy and obvious. We have no agency as a species. It’s not possible to get one family to agree, much less 8-billion people! Besides, climate change is just one symptom of our overshoot. There are at least 2-billion too many Homo sapiens on the planet for biodiversity to survive and for pollution-including GHG emissions-to not be problematic. The human animal is not special, overshoot is just what animals do when they have enough resources without sufficient restraints on their population growth. The only thing unique about our species is that the pairing of large brains with hands allowed our overshoot to be on a planetary scale. Evolution made a mistake. It will be corrected as the sixth mass extinction event continues to gear up and hit home.

We aren't listening because the governments in charge are silent on climate mitigation. They are sold out to fossil fuel companies who lobby for massive continuing subsidies and ongoing deregulation of emissions and carbon caps. We have no official leadership on climate mitigation, public messaging on this crisis, or education of young people about how to live a climate-safe future. There is nothing to listen to! Please stop talking as though its the public that is at fault here ... although most of us would not like to know how much fossil fuel we'd actually have to give up to begin to address this overshoot problem. In a democracy, no politician would be re-elected by stating truthfully how much of our fossil-fuel-driven comfort we'd have to give up to reduce emissions. So on we go, pondering the helplessness of whole societies to save themselves. It would be very, very hard, disruptive, self-sacrificing work to get ourselves off fossil fuels. Hardly any business interests (other than those that make money off "alternative energy" solutions) would accept massive cuts to fossil fuels. The impacts are already catastrophic.

Because the basic premise is false. When Politics sidestep facts When considering matters surrounding the current political narratives of the day, we should bear in mind the wise words of past figures of some merit; the American man of letters Henry Brooks Adams observed that 'Practical politics consists in ignoring facts'; Churchill famously noted that 'United wishes and goodwill cannot overcome brute facts; panic may resent it; ignorance may deride it; malice may distort it; but there it is'. Burns was a little more frank: 'Facts are chiels that winna ding, and downa be disputed'. The entire current net zero scam, for example is based on readily provable fallacies, namely that a) carbon dioxide is somehow a pollutant, when in fact it is an ESSENTIAL TO LIFE gas - try growing any plant in an atmosphere scrubbed of carbon dioxide, and it will simply wither and die - reducing CO2 by 60% of today's levels would kill off plant life on Earth entirely, and all living things thereinafter dependent; b) carbon dioxide's innate propensity to help warm the planet - (which occurs only between the levels of 50 to 100 parts per million) has for hundreds of millions of years been saturate, i.e. cannot be meaningfully increased further - our planet would be some thirty-two degrees Celsius colder on average without this historic and wholly natural warming effect, albeit nowadays erroneously termed the 'greenhouse effect' - CO2 constitutes only roughly ten percent of the whole warming process, with the other 90% part being the work of water vapour in the form of clouds, which we are neither able to reduce nor even control, much less set a pretend tax or levy upon; and c) the cultists, charlatans and scammers oblige us to ignore the second law of thermodynamics, which while we need not of necessity fully comprehend any more than we do the nature of electricity, but accept as a matter of scientific fact, as has and to this day is still accepted by all serious men of science, which obliges us to acknowledge that the irreversible nature of radiative energy absorption of the air (how our Sun's energy warms the planet, and how it cannot turn at once from radiative to convective energy and thereafter somehow back to radiative energy once more) under the naturally convective atmospheric conditions on Earth renders 'back radiation' and thus the so-called 'greenhouse effect' impossible. Put simply, eight minutes after the Sun's intense, short-wave radiative energy leaves the surface of our star some 92,800,000 miles distant, it arrives here on Earth, bringing life-giving warmth. That same radiative energy is shortly thereafter converted into long-wavelength energy, and via transfer of heat to air molecules of almost all manner, including their famous whipping-boy, carbon dioxide, helps to warm the planet, BUT from which transfer it CANNOT thereafter reverse or re-convert back into short wavelength energy; thereafter the thus converted, convective warmth works its way via convective currents up through our atmosphere over hours and days, and out and away unto space - unlike being trapped in a greenhouse - and is lost to the planet forever thereafter. This latter process happens not at the speed of light, but at the speed of convection, a far slower process. Earth has NO meaningful way of heating up our atmosphere, even after considering volcanic activity. It should be borne in mind too, that all carbon dioxide on Earth constitutes a mere four one hundredths of one percent of our atmospheric make-up, and of that minute amount, a mere 4% of that whole is man-made, the other 96% being of an entirely natural origin; this makes the notion of Carbon dioxide heating not only itself but also the remaining 99.96% of our planet's atmosphere something of a 'tall order' to say the least, given such physical constraints placed in its way, whether by nature or design. Our world's CO2 represents 0.04% of our entire atmosphere, man made CO2 is but 4% of that tiny amount; even should the 18 parts per million (4%) CO2 ascribed to the total 420ppm double, triple or quintuple in volume, the greening of the planet will be the only result, providing even more oxygen via photosynthesis. A perfect correlation between the monthly mean sunspot number and the mean seasonal temperature variation clearly demonstrates that solar activity is the principal driver of global warming/cooling, depending on solar activity levels - in short, it's the Sun, not us. Well over one thousand scientific, peer-reviewed papers have been produced demonstrating the link between Earth’s climate (which produces no heat to speak of sufficient to drive its own climate) and the Sun - our SOLE meaningful means of warming the planet. It has furthermore been comprehensively proven by the two Professors, Dr. William Happer- chief Scientific advisor to three US presidents - and Willem Van Wijngaarden, both at Princeton, USA that carbon dioxide does not and indeed cannot warm the planet in the way that the scammers and charlatans would have us "believe", and yet despite ALL this, rather than ‘looking up’ and finding out basic facts for ourselves, a global industry has been created around this foolish notion; they persist with the myth, trusting in the supposition that no one else was paying much attention to physics and chemistry in school. Consider also what the 'slick salesmen' do not tell you as much as what they do - in January 2022 a huge underwater volcano erupted in Tonga, spewing out millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide and other gases, and well as firing millions of tonnes of water vapour into our upper atmosphere, impacting on the climate of our entire planet; the regionally varying cooling and warming effect of this event is acknowledged by meteorologists and geophysicists alike, but this is regarded as somewhat 'inconvenient' or irrelevant by our politicos seeking to drive the narrative to their own ends. So - when they come to further con you into both parting with your monies and the fireside comfort of yourself and your loved ones, remember to consider not only their politics, but also the brute facts, for change these they cannot, despite their urgings and motives. -------------- Shakespeare wrote 'What a terrible era, in which idiots govern the blind'..

Why listen to people and media that are pathological liars? New studies on suns effect on the Earth is just more and more convincing and they dont even have to change the past temperatures to make their theories work. Just one example .. satellite data shows no increase in temperatures between 1997- 2015 and we know CO2 didnt stop rising during that period. Even IPCC have little trust in most so called crisis trends. Lie and you lost the little trust we had from the start since trust is earned not something you can win by lies and by demanding trust.

"It's not too late". That is meaningless. You must provide context and clarity. "Too late" ..... for what? To take actions which will stop global heating from GHG emissions? To return to some ideal set of living conditions? Can we halt the heating and the changes it brings us? End it before this year is out? Of course not.....OK, so can we end the heating by the end of this decade? Another no, since there is at least a decade of "lead time" already baked in (pun intended). The GHGs emitted in the past will continue to heat the atmosphere, and then the oceans, for AT LEAST a decade before the incoming solar radiation and the outgoing heat equilibrate. They will reach a new balance at a higher Global Average Surface Temperature. Think of it as climatic inertia. Now ask the pertinent question.......... "Is industrial civilization still the primary forcing agent in the observed heating? Probably, for now, yes. But in the near future, "nature" (physics, chemistry, geology, hydrology, etc.) will be "driving this bus". Increasingly, we are along for the ride. The colossal effort that a carbon fuel-based society will have to exert to free itself from carbon fuels will greatly increase the GHG concentrations in our atmosphere. It will obviously require that we consume a colossal amount of fossil fuels to build out our new, non-fossil fuel-based civilization which is the only possible "sustainable" civilization. Even that is not certain, or even likely to be achievable. All new technology is built using preceding technology. Since civilizations are energy dependent, they are ALL heat engines, radiating waste heat into the atmosphere, regardless of how efficient they are or from which source the energy is derived. Perhaps, in the end, civilization is not survivable. So, what do we do? Well, there's the rub. "DOING" things inevitably requires the expenditure of money, time, and ironically, ENERGY. Expending ever more energy is what brought us to this predicament. I argue that we should, instead, decide what we are going to quit "DOING". What behaviors will we reject? What things and practices will we give up? What will we do without? Less may well be more or at least, less may be all we can have. We are gifted survival as the primary benefit of our sacrifice. There is no free lunch. Ever. Let's embrace the piquant wisdom of the American humorist, Will Rogers, shall we? "If stupidity got us into this mess, why can't it get us out"?

The computer models exaggerate the amount of predicted warming. In fact, temperatures have only risen by 0.5 percent in the last 45 years. By the way, China is a leading producer of solar panels, it is also heavily investing in expanding its coal power capacity. So China benefits from the global demand for renewable energy technology while simultaneously securing energy supply from its vast coal reserves.

You listen too much to the leaders whose job depends on the continued scare (UN Guterres $227,000/yr) and the many scientists whose jobs depend on multi-million $ climate research grants. Try reading the actual UN consensus science itself. Here are some direct quotes from the most recent UN IPCC report (Ar6 Chapter 11 Extreme Weather): On FLOODS: “LOW CONDIENCE for observed changes in the magnitude or frequency of floods at the global scale.” On DROUGHTS: “There is medium confidence that since the 1950s some regions of the world have experienced a trend to more intense and longer droughts … but in some regions droughts have become less frequent, less intense, or shorter…”. [Thus, NO GLOBAL TREND in droughts, but an increase in some regions and a decrease in others.] On TROPICAL CYCLONES/HURRICANES: ”There is LOW CONFIDENCE in observed long-term trends in hurricane intensity, frequency, and duration, and any observed trends in phenomena such as tornadoes and hail.” “Data corresponding to hurricanes that have directly impacted the UNITES STATES since 1900 are considered to be reliable, and SHOW NO TREND in the frequency of U.S. landfall events” “Data representing hurricane landfall frequency over AUSTRALIA show a DECREASING TREND in eastern Australia since the 1800s as well as in other parts of Australia since 1982.” Extra tropical STORMS [ie. major storms outside of the tropics, such as Europe]. “there is overall LOW CONFIDENCE in recent changes in the total number of storms over both hemispheres” “Overall, there is also LOW CONFIDENCE in past-century trends in the number and intensity of the strongest storms” Of course, you will likely accuse me of ‘cherry picking’ quotes. So read yourself and show where I have misrepresented the consensus science. www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg1/chapter/chapter-11/ Annual climate deaths have reduced by more than 95% in the past 100 years, while the population is x4. images.wsj.net/im-428434/?width=700&height=434 Again, if you dispute this, please provide the data. The Great Barrier Reef has recovered from recent bleaching events: platogbr.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/record-high-coral-2024.png?w=1024 Again, provide alternative data if have it. Finally. You want a world without fossil fuels? Well, I recommend you take Jusper Machogu, a Kenyan subsistence farmer, up on his Sustainability Internship Programme to spend a week with him to learn what life is like without fossil fuels. juspermachogu.substack.com/p/juspers-village-internship And follow him on Twitter/X. #juspermachogu A sobering thought: Fossil fuel use and emissions continue to rise due to the massive economic growth of China and India. Next is Africa. However, the West is currently holding back Africa’s rise out of extreme poverty by refusing to support its development of fossil fuels. What will be the result? China is already stepping in to support Africa’s economic growth with our hypocritical conditions. (ie. We continue to rely on fossil fuels for 80% of our energy needs while denying them to Africa.) Wake up. Read the true science and not the 'my job/grant money depends on it' policy makers and alarmist scientists.
